"When the trumpet of the LORD shall sound and time shall be no more...," the song goes..
Zechariah 9:14, "And the Lord shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south."
(Zechariah 9 isn't very often included in messages about Christs return but is also relevant)
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17,
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
,Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
We should be waiting and expecting to hear His call, and the trumpet of the LORD Yahweh, that will sound at the return of Jesus Christ.
