After putting my records in storage for 10 years, I finally got the building put up and am working on completing the office section. Right now it's still a little rough, but at least I have an actual listening room, finally...

Well it will look better. That room is 16x30. The rest of the building (44x30) is the shop/garage. We built it just above and to the left of the Chrysler in this picture. It's 100 feet from the house, so I can blast the stereo or the band as loud as I want. And recording is completely uninterrupted except when a medivac helicopter from the local hospital goes over, which is rare. :)

Those posts were a bit narcissistic. Sorry about that. But yeah, I'll try to remember to do that. The electrician just finished up today, so I can start finishing up the walls. :)

You can tell by the furniture, it's going to be heavily mid-century. I have some green glass hanging ball lamps and 12 lava lamps. :)

Is it original mid-century modern? I have dealt with a lot of that in my line of work. Very popular.

"Twilight of the Gods"

Full audiobook, 5:50:50 hrs,

now on pause, cannot concentrate and write a post at the same time,

It is true life from the eastern front,
(SS Nordland).
Some days ago I listened to;

"In deadly combat"
A German soldiers memoir of the eastern front
5:37:16.

"D Day"
Through German eyes,
6:03:33.

Really eyeopening, not fiction,
very, very fascinating.

I have tried to study the whole thing through the years but now there are coming out many
of these types of accounts.

It all started when my neighbor left an early 60's RCA console stereo under his eaves to take to the dump, and I asked if I could have it. It was low profile, and the center top door had a big hinge that allowed you to open just the front 8 inches to get to the controls. Which meant you could use it as a flat screen TV stand. It ended up going to my daughter when we left Seattle. But it started me out.

In that vein, this guy's set design is interesting:

That set seems very 70’s to me. I liked the host’s look in hair and clothes. :)
