Sorry but this is a dumb answer that misses the point. There is a way to disagree with a friend without making them look like a jerk internationally just to boost your own re-election prospects. You can have private phone calls and not say things publicly like have been said making it look like they are not your friend. This administration's behavior is schizophrenic.

I would prefer leadership, which means laying your cards on the table and be willing to suffer anything in order to do what is right.
