so my psych doctor thinks I have anti social personality disorder, she thinks i might be a psychopath.

Can psychopaths be christians, I lack feelings and have done some stuff I wont mention unless through PM. But I want to serve god, but I`m numb when it comes to human emotions. Its like im constantly distracted from gods word and I want to get better.

Any advice? Anything you guys want to ask?

I think that much of contemporary psychology puts medical terms to spiritual issues. Imho, if you truly want to serve and love God, God will work with and on your heart, and help heal you.

yea ive changed alot allready. I used to look at films of people being put in situations I wont go into. But through PM I kan share. I was once a pervert but im changing. I was strung out on porn real bad. I`m fighting my attraction towards trans women. But I think nofap will help me with my attraction to them.

You'd be surprised how many people also struggle with a host of creepy stuff. It's not uncommon. Imho the best way to look at this stuff is as something evil that we can turn down in Christ. "No, I'm not gonna look at that video. No, I'm not gonna let my mind drift into a place it shouldn't go. No, I'm not gonna do this or that".

Everyone struggles with sin. In Christ we can identify it as such and choose with His help, to say "no", repent, and get God's assistance to say no.

simple answer to your question is yes... you can be a christian.. i would imagine you would be met with a lot of difficulties.. for me personally the experience of love and joy and the feeling of being completely filled was my moment in which i knew there is a god and i loved him and i knew he loved me... you say that you are numb.. yet here you are caring about things.. and i believe you must want these things.. i also see that you say you want to be celibate and that you are trying to do "nofap" now if these are truths.. all this would show me that you do care and you do have a conscious.. i would ask you how old are you??? because i had moments in my life when i was younger and in my teens where i wouldnt have really said i was "numb" persay but i really didnt care about things... and i think i was just a phase in which i had to go through.. maybe its the same with you... i would say this have you considered just pushing into god sorta like you are and just not caring about what these head doctors say? i mean what if you just went about your life pushing into god like you want to??? but if you listen to these people... and they discourage you.... in so much that it weakens you to the point where you have to ask such questions as this??? which is more is more dangerous? you pushing into god and trying with all your heart to do what you see it right... or listening to this doctor and given up before you try...

I want to get off porn for good, nofap is built for that. I did 4 days yesterday than relaspe. I`m not going to give up based on what the doctor says, I just want to strive for something more than what my family or the mental health board thinks of me.

you have already chosen well then.. keep trying even if you fail.. and spend some time in prayer talking to him its helped me a lot.. the flesh is a horrible thing man and its very hard for even me to control.... as well as probably 90% of the people here (or more) so i cant give you any sound advice there.. even if i could... thats all it would be is advice... but i can tell you that you have picked a good fight and i just want to encourage you in that.

those are antidepressants... they are made to control your serotonin levels in your brain.. the doctors DO NOT know how these meds will affect you when you take them (its a stab in the dark)... so they put you pill x... you come back in a month later they ask you how you feel.. you say no different or worse.. they increase the dose.. you come back again... you feel this now.. but now you have this and this going on.. then they put you on another one.. they do this until you think you are "okay" and say this to them.. that is where they say you are "balanced" now but here you are with all the same problems as before.. but now taking all these pills too.. those pill MAY help you not think about xyz.. but its not the right way to go about it because how do i say this... tricking the brain isnt healing the brain..

since you have been on them for sooo long.. it kinda makes this a different beast altogether.. and it could be harder on you to get off those things than it was for me i went through this same crap with the head docs and ptsd.. those things made me worse and didnt help anything.. i got off them kept my take as needed meds for my sudden panic attacks.. and rolled forward and im doing better now than i ever have as far as the panic attacks go.

While reading your above posts the scripture in Ezekiel 36:26 kept coming to mind:

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

Ask God to give you a soft pliable heart that feels. Ask Him help you to walk in His love for others as well as your self. Pray and ask God every day to do Ezekiel 36:26 for you. : )

I am not a psychopath, but I have suffered from a bit of something like you're describing - not the full blown type, but the latent type, or seed, that by the grace of God never blossomed.

I would suggest praying about this - the issue relates to you as a being, and only God can fix it - which I believe He is willing to, as psychopathy is contrary to love.

I myself have shared some of your issues. I've had sexual problems since I was in the single digit ages, and also used to abuse animals from the same.

I have had other issues as well - let me put it this way: Christ will make you go from being uncaring to having your stomach sink reading what happens in the news. This from one (me) whose latent instinct seeks to be to "gloat at calamity" - I naturally find bad events amusing or exciting.

There's hope.
I would suggest getting a second and third opinion from psychiatrists. Another thing I'd suggest is trying to get off those pills with your psychiatrist's help. Some of your symptoms may be caused by that.

You won't need NF once you learn to draw power from God to overcome sexual sin. Eventually sexual thoughts just bounce off and don't have much of an effect.

Make sure to fully surrender yourself - to have your heart changed and empowered by grace, you have to first give it fully and unconditionally to God. That's the most important step.

I think it's helpful that you've identified your points of weakness. If you know what causes you to stumble, you can elect to shut down those thoughts or impulses as they begin to arise. Prayers, man. Prayer is our best weapon.

Yea I've liked animals teens transgenders women transexuals and all that word stuff. I don't look for anything, I just stay in my room n go to work n go back home n work out that's it . Yea I've killed animals and tortured them and got a high from doing such acts. Without meds I become a sexual deviant and am kind of a stalker. So I need my meds to keep the thoughts at bay
