crazy time to be alive. I wasn't alive during the late 70's but I've heard others say it was similar then... I wonder how true that is.
Under Jimmy Carter prices went nuts, especially do to the phony oil shortage crisis. Oh there was a shortage, man made then and now. But we survived it. It's done by intentional political agenda and so called circumstances, world or otherwise gets used as the scape goat to take your eye off the deliberate action.. And they feel the tracks are covered well enough. Many see through it but the news networks also deliberately by the way, won't cover that angle.

Thus the slogan "let no good crisis go to waste". But better yet, lets create the crisis itself in the first place. And then the reality of this is we citizens feel it in the wallet, shortages etc.. Oh by the way, notice how covid has sort of gone into the wood work lately ?

You cannot pump 3 TRILLION dollars into an economy without devaluing the “dollar” and increasing the price of imports by creating “inflation”. This is Macroeconomics 101. So the blame belongs to Trump and Biden and all of the Congress-critters and all of the businesses and voters that all supported and demanded huge deficit spending to provide everyone with a “cash handout”.

Now you know what happens when you “just print more money”.

A lot of people blame president Biden - not his fault. This pandemic is why the economy went off balance - greed it's what's keeping it that way and making it worse. There is no reason for the food industry, Auto industry, clothing industry, or any manufacturing industry to increase the prices to the degree that they have _ plus they received help from the government - some industries millions of dollars. During the shutdown they really didn't lose much, they just didn't gain.

I noticed the trend, after disasters prices go up _ they have a name for it _ SUPPLY AND DEMAND _ even those who know better still have to pay the prices.

Well, we tried to tell them.
The sad thing is that those most hurt will turn around and elect the same people into office repeatedly. Regardless of party.

Greed is and always will be present. What we’re lacking is strong leadership. It’s greed’s fault, inflation’s fault, the need to be green no matter the cost, Trump’s fault, Putin’s fault, handouts and printing money until a box of crackers costs $42, and on and on. This cesspool of a situation would never have happened under Trump’s strong leadership. Just look at what we had, and what we have now… this is not rocket science.

And what would Trump have done issue an executive order for no industry to go up on their prices.
Prices started increasing under Trump _ who by the way inherited an excellent economy, excellent unemployment rate, from the Obama administration in spite of the Republicans trying to stop him at every turn.
Biden inherited a mess and the Republican are doing what they can to hinder him..

Fact Check | Ernst says gas prices are rising under Biden; they were going up under Trump, too

These products are probably more expensive because of Trump’s trade war

Trump’s Tariffs Were Much More Damaging Than Thought

Trump leaving with 'a historically bad economic record'? Let's look at the facts

Obama will leave office with unemployment at 4.7 percent - The Boston Globe

https://www.americanprogress.org/article/obamas-legacy-economy-anything-mess/

No it's not rocket science - but it does require honesty.

You've certainly got guts to defend this cesspool situation. The Dem oligarchs won't even stand-up like that.

No, sir I'm not defending a cesspool of a situation. I am only relating when price increases, among other things started.

As industries have told the people throughout the decades "supply and demand."
A million US citizens dead in two years from covid-19 and number is probably higher.
Country lockdown - which probably saved a million lives while giving reason to the industry's "supply and demand." Yep covid jumped up and bit everybody in more ways than one.

That actually started with Obama with the too big to fall nonsense and government bailout of businesses. After that everyone went crazy with the whole money printing thing.

It's ridiculous.
