To me it looks like a convoy of trouble heading somebody way.
No really Do the IFV's shoot the nets out to detonate land mines.

I don't see any nets.
Are you refering to the concertina wire? That's for creating obstacles.

I didn't work with tanks, it was 3/7 CAV which is mainly tanks, but thats not why I called it the tank picture. That picture were taken when we were passing though Ansamawa. Well, passing, their was a bit of trouble there. But I labeled them stupid things to set them apart in my mind. I am aware of the fact that it isn't an Abrams Tank. 3-7 Cav, Third Infantry 1st BCT and the Longbow Apache AVN Battalion. I just started working on my webpage, Ive only got those 50 pics so far,if anyone is very brave they can click on this link and try to look at all the pictures on the same page, but I am guessing that unless you have a fast connection it might take forever to load. http://www.angelfire.com/hiphop3/greenlantern/

I thought I'd do the same, but mine are ...... um historical (20+ years ago) compared to yours, lol.

The first picture was taken by me as the launch was leaving the boat to take us on shore leave. The king of Morrocco was hosting an arab summit and asked his old friend Ronald Reagan for a show of force. We were sent to anchor in the harbor off of Tangiers. One night while on deck I was listening to a spanish language radio station and they were playing american "new wave" music, made me real homesick, but I thought it was pretty cool.

The second photo is me standing topside while we were resupplying for a "northern run". That night we got underway, and once submerged didn't surface for 72 days. It was my toughest run but it earned our boat some very significant awards for the "mission" we accomplishe. (Sorry, can't share,lol)

Wow, those LONGBOWS .... Thanks man... Although the first pic of the AH-64 seemed to me like a "A" model... Maybe they removed the MMW radar...

Great pictures, I recognize them as pictures taken by the AP and Dallas Morning News of the Third Infantry Division. I have a slide show movie with those pictures in it that they made for us. Or at least some of them, I looked again and the pictures appear to have who released them printed very small on the bottom.

And yes I was born a U.S citizen, some of those helicopters were just plane old Apaches however, some of the Longbows do not have the radar gear on top. It is my understanding that only one helicopter needs that, and the information is then relayed to the other helicopters.

UMMM i dont mean to be mean or anythign, but maybe you should blank out the names on your uniforms and stuff on the pics bc of OPSEC!!!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL with the information that you give out!!! we have to go through a lot of "lectures" on this...REMEBER that anyone and everyone can read this!
