Hi I would like to join but I do not know how I would fit into the story.

It depends on what kind of character you want to add to the story, and what the threadmaster may have in mind... We could meet you along the way and you could get tangled up in what we're doing, you could decide to help us, we could find you and rescue you and you out of gratitude decide to join us... etc. etc.
