hi, yes, cats are a great comfort if you are not well.

I find Philippians 4 verse 6 is very helpful,

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I have a lifelong anxiety problem, I live the verses from the Bible, I believe the promises and put my trust in the Lord Jesus. He is everything to me.

Maybe the cat knows you don't feel good and is trying to make you feel better.
