• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Full article on free legitimate resources that doctors, and nurses and most people who practice medicine use, but never tell their patients.
(Its not really free, its the government, so its been paid by tax payers by the people.)
Doctor malpractice and medical information Everyone should know
I will post this as unverified, although, there shouldn't be any issue since its not false information. This is mostly based on personal experience and searching through health websites and drawing a conclusion on what I found.
for extensive, legitimate, studies and research into each and any supplement. Including interactions, overdose limits. and much more in the related or affiliated articles and documents section, should be on the right.
Never mix a pharmaceutical with a natural remedy or supplement without first doing your research. Don't take it on WebMD or healthline or any other mainstream health site's word. Especially going to a reddit and trying to get your conclusive statement from there. It can be useful anecdotally but it is by no means a safe referral for navigating your understanding on just about anything. I've seen long threads on chemistry where many chemistry students were wrong, etc.
all in all if you decide to take any new medication or supplement whether pharmaceutical, synthetic, natural or extract. Check Ncbi.gov and pubmed for clear detailed analysis of what you are taking through studies including studies on toxicity, possible interactions, conclusive experiment analysis, general information, and medical use. Efficacy, and uses in prognosis of ailments and health. Wiki's always a good foreground for general info too.
people doing the nootropic scene. Definitely better than just checking out reddits.
and finally, don't just take it on a doctor's word. If they knew any better they would be letting their patients know about pubmed and ncbi.gov, but I've never heard one mention it. although they use it all the time for research or taking a refresher course on a certain medical subject.
Medical students use these as referential sources for studying through out their college education. But no one in a doctor's office ever tells patients about it even though, its to everyone's best benefit to know what they're being diagnosed with, prescribed, or if given invasive or potentially dangerous forms of treatment, a chance to know what they are getting into, many a time, unnecessarily.
We had the free information to resolve many major medical issues in the medical field and business, but a doctor or nurse never mentioned to their patients about the free resources they use because they will state that their patient is unqualified to know about their own treatment or medical problems. Utterly absurd.
also these sites also have a focus on toxicity of uses of things that don't pertain to medicine or drug use. Including reports of hospitalization and effects of toxic contaminants in our environment whether it be at work, home, or local natural ecosystems, food additives. etc.
any drug you've taken in the past will have some info in there whether sanctioned by established authority of a political nature or denied, while legal sale has been allowed through clandestine markets of unknown reputation or credability, You can find medical information on such subjects pertaining what has been sold at ncbi and pubmed. If big pharma can't follow the rules, Why would any else be in the business, and medicine is not what we need the most. Its truth.
A simple misconduct and appropriation at the doctor's office that has lead to unnecessary unethical practices.

Many references and citations from university studies, and medical research institutes can be found at the bottom of almost all medical documents. God bless.

Reliable medical information has entered a time long-past being identified as driven purely by 'First, do no harm.' Though search results are laden with conflicting reports, a fresh stream of knowledge concerning these profit-alliances, old and new have finally been uncovered by whistleblower and sting-investigations alike.

Even some 'Christian' medical org statements of faith are far too vague to solidify a comfortable amount of assurance with statements such as,

“We believe every individual has a fundamental religious right to worship the God of the Bible in his or her own way.”

Medi-Share or Samaritan Ministries have a more distinctive statement which I think is far more trustworthy these days than any gov't-run venue.
