It's through the lens of Christian mysticism which is my connection to the Christian religion. That's where I came back to after leaving the religion.

I'm not sure what you mean by advantage, learning more about the world is a continuous and dynamic process of which I have benefited tremendously from. You're free to quote scripture all you like, that probably lands better with Christians but doesn't have much meaning to someone who hasn't been a Christian in years.
