Hello,
Just thought I would pop in and say hi, which is something I like to do in real life as often as I can, but I'm a bit far away from a corps to go regularly now.

I was wondering though, since I live in a very rural place in the south west of the UK now, and most of the corps near me seem to be winding down. It's very sad to see.

Does The Salvation Army have a plan for places like these, or will it just let them close up?

I also keep wondering about whether the Army needs to modernise or go back to its roots? Where it is successful with big, thriving corps, what is their secret? Prayer? self-denial? Or strategic planning?
