Is the late Rachel Held Evans worth reading?

I do not necessarily consider myself "liberal" or "conservative," but I try to keep an open mind and learn as much as I can.

Is anyone here familiar with her work?

I wanted to buy several of her books on my kindle but I've seen many negative reviews.

I have her book A Year of Biblical Womanhood and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't speak much to her body of work beyond that.
