How to spot a false teacher concerning extrabiblical theology?

You've got to scratch your head and wonder why.

Cause drinking alcohol is a sin, and any serious Christian walking in the Spirit that respects that their body IS the temple of the Holy Ghost... would not put known carcinogens (poison) in their body such as alcohol which science has proven to be very damaging to the body.

It matters not if you live in a culture where people abuse their body on a regular basis. I mean, if you lived somewhere that sexually abusing children was accepted as the norm... are we going to do that to?? C'mon... let's be spiritually minded and grow up in Christ, for Christ's sake and for crying out loud, and all those sayings...

Open Heaven means the heavens are not "Brass" as scripture says. Best ask the preacher the texts basis.

Use counselors who know scripture. Bible search engines like Bible Hub.

Use the first five centuries of early church examples. And know that Even Paul and Matthew were tested by the authority of Moses done best by the Bereans.

We only seem to bother to learn to read scripture above inspirational gleenings when tested with issues, like gnosticism, and Sabelianism and immorality and authority... then we think logically and have theology.
