This, of course, varies from college to college, but in general, yes, students from Christian colleges receive job offers! Most Christian colleges have companies and organizations come on campus to recruit students, and almost all have a placement or career office that assists with things like resume preperation, preparing for job interviews, etc.

Factors that have a lot to do with how many and how good the offers are:

The reputation of the college
Do they have regional acceditation?
What majors do they offer?
How have other graduates from the college performed with their company?
How good the career placement office is

If you are considering a Christian college but are concerned about this issue in particular (A very legitimate area of concern!) get the following information from a college that you are seriously considering:

* names of companies that have hired XYZ college grads in the past
* Names of companies that recruit on campus - how many total?
* % of XYZ graduates who have a job in their field within 3mo 6mo 12mo of grad.
* what services does the career office offer
* what % of grads in your intended major have jobs within 3mo, etc.
* are their any local businesses where students can do internships?
* do students on campus do research or projects for any businessses or government agencies (I personally know of one Christian college that does work for NASA, another that does linguistic research for the Army, another where chemical research is done for a wide range of companies, still another where work is done for the Bureau of Mines)

also - call a nearby large company or business and ask the HR office if they hire graduates from XYZ college and what their general opinion is of their grads.

I know for a fact that there are many fine Christian colleges that will have excellent answers to these questions... and that there are other that will not have good answers. Ask a lot of questions and do not settle for answers like "Our graduates do really well!" What does "really well" mean?? Get measurable, concrete information - colleges have to do reports on this kind of thing every year, so giving you the answers should not be a problem at all.
