Mary's dead she can't save anybody.

I once knew of a similar story involving a Bob's Big Boy statue.

A man was walking into the restaurant to meet his wife when a car in the parking lot went out of control. The car hit the Big Boy statue and stopped while the man was standing behind it.

I would love to read the story...but it tells me that the site can't be found. But I can tell you that only God can save anyone....but to comment further, I would have to read the article.
