I do in the light of Ro 11:25, below.Do you think "If they do not persist in unbelief" is a revealed plan for the nation Israel?
But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree,
— Romans 11:17
It might be helpful to know that "until" (Gr: achri) does not necessarily mean a change of things (Ac 23:1, Ac 26:22, Ro 5:13, Ro 8:22,For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
— Romans 11:25
I don't know if it says something to you, but to me it does.
1 Co 4:11, 2 Co 3:14, Php 1:5).
In this case, "fullness of Gentiles" could (and probably does) mean the end of time. . .hardening (of all but a remnant, Ro 11:5)
until the fullness of the Gentiles (which does not necessarily mean a change, because it could mean the end of time).
The NT reveals that God's plan for Israel is that it be on the same footing as the Gentiles, salvation is by faith in and trust on the person and atoning work of Jesus Christ (Ro 3:25), which is turning out to be salvation of only a remnant of all mankind.
