I'll concede I'm not the history buff that others are, so if there's an argument that we didn't need Stalin's help in defeating Hitler, I'd entertain it.
That ain't the hot take that I was talking about. I specifically quoted what hot take to which I was responding.

What a lame excuse! So Israel is whining they can only win by killing tens of thousands and starving the rest because Hamas isn't out in the open?

Depraved indifference to human life.
What a lame excuse. Let's blame the army of the nation that has been defending themselves from Hamas war like actions for decades. Hamas is the savages with depraved indifference to human life!!!

Both sides have committed atrocities.
Israel has persecuted the Palestinians for decades.
Hamas committed atrocities on 10/7, but Israel's response has been so horrific and disproportionate that 10/7 pales by comparison.
And what has Israel gained? Condemned by the world, exacerbating the hatred of Iran, Syria and Hezbollah.
As our defense secretary predicted, they have lost the respect of the world and are isolated.

Hamas and, before them, the PLO as well as the PLA as well as Hezbollah has been physically attacking and killing Israelis and Jews for more than a few decades. I don't know why it appears that you believe that Israel is as bad as the PLO, the PLA, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

What do the liberals feel about protests and rallies by white supremacists?
I don't like Illinois Nazis, but they have the right to march in Skokie or Texas.

They pushed Palestinians into walled ghettos, with checkpoints taking hours. They earned 10% of israeli income. Ear-splitting noise bombs shattered windows in Gaza.

Now Palestinians would call that the good old days.

Do I think Israeli leaders are "as bad as" Hamas?"

Currently they--not the Israeli people--are worse by far.

Oh, well, then you'll have to take that up with Tucker Carlson (who recently fawned over Putin in an interview), Paul Manafort (who supported the pro-Russian president of Ukraine and worked for other Russian interests), Rick Gates (who worked with Manafort on some of those projects), Michael Flynn (who consulted for Russian companies and gave a paid speech at an RT anniversary dinner), Don Jr and Jared Kushner (who, along with Manafort) met with Russian agents to get oppo research on Hillary), MTG and other far right wingers who keep repeating Russian anti-Ukraine propaganda, and the entire NRA (who underwrote political access to a couple of Russian agents). I'm sure there are more, but that's just off the top of my head.

ETA: Oh yeah, and the handful of posters here who continually repost Russian propaganda. You'll have to take it up with them, too.

There's so much misinformation, and misinterpretation in that post. I will need a lot of time to post rebuttals for all that stuff.

Did Israel go into Palestinian villas and cities raping and killing women and children?

Ultimately what I think will happen is that 100% of everyone of these charges will be dropped. Right wingers like abbot like to use the policw for ideological enforcement. If arrests during rhe blm could be dropped b2csuse of so many false arrests it will definitely happen after an event where there were no crimes being perpetrated.

You were right. All charges dropped. Lack of probable cause Charges dropped against all 57 arrested in connection to UT-Austin pro-Palestinian protest

No, they just bombed markets instead.
Because Hamas was hiding there attempting to use civilians as human shields. The Hamas barbarian savages represents pure evil.

Considering that there are 30,000 Hamas, and that more than that are verified dead, over 2 million starving, and almost 3 million homeless, the idea that they are "shields" is murderously evil.

I think it is a mistake to confuse protesting actions of the nation of Israel with "hatred for Yahova's Chosen People." No nation has unique status to be above criticism. Some of us think killing, raping, plundering, starving, bombing, and destroying the livelihood of other human beings is wrong no matter who is doing it. I think we should be careful about throwing around pejoratives.

Loving your neighbor is a Christian value.
Then you believe the rape, murder, capture of the Jewish, God's Chosen People, that took place on 10/7 should not be contested?
