11:2 καὶ τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἔσωθεν [outside] τοῦ ναοῦ ἔκβαλε [cast out] ἔξω [out (-side)]...

Revelation 11:1-2

"Cast out" means "to exclude."
IOW, don't include the measurement of the outer court.

By the way, the two witnesses in Revelation 11:3 symbolized the Law and the Prophets. The Jews did not obey the Law and they did not believe their Prophets concerning the coming of their Messiah. That is why they wanted Jesus dead. Luke 16:16

The Rich Man and Lazarus:

Luke 16:28-30 for I have five brothers—that he may warn them, so that they will not also come into this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.’ 30 He said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’

At the transfiguration of Jesus, Peter, James, and John saw Moses and Elijah, who represented the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 17:3

All Christians are raptured when they die. The idea of a pre trib rapture is a lot of Christians are taken at once. This could be the result of a massive nuclear war. At the resurrection we will be reunited with our Body. There were actually quite a few Hebrew that were resurrected when Jesus went to Calvary, we do not hear about what happened to them and where they are now.

Matthew 27: 51At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. 52 The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people

All Christians are raptured when they die.
Nowhere in the NT do the apostles teach that all Christians are raptured when they die.

Rather, apostolic teaching is that the rapture (snatching up) occurs at the resurrection (1 Th 4:16-17).

Christians are raptured when they die in the sense that their souls ascend to be with the Lord.

Whereas the term rapture is used more exclusively to apply to the time when their physical dead bodies will be made immortal and will ascend to be with the Lord.

The NT use of the word harpazo (catching away) does not refer to souls, it refers to complete bodies.

When you study the details of the rapture in Thessalonians and compare it to the rapture in Corinthians, it appears these scriptures are describing two distinct rapture events for the saints. And if this is true, then what do these two different raptures represent?
Jesus appears bodily on earth two times. That is all. He will appear the second time, with the clouds accompanying him, which is the same way he left.

Jesus appeared the first time, 2000 years ago, to die so that our sins could be forgiven.

Jesus will appear a second time, at the end of time, to save his people, who are still on earth.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Jesus ascends from the earth to heaven after he rose from the dead:

Acts 1:9-11
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Jesus will descend to earth the at the end of time. Everyone's body is resurrected (John 5:28-29) and then the judgment of the sheep and goats/white throne judgment will take place:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20:11-12

Paul used the term to apply to himself in 2 Corinthians 12:2 --

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up/harpazo to the third heaven.

Rapture Dream! I was left behind. 10/17/23
  • Matthew 24:38-44 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark (7 days before the flood), (39) and they (unbelieving mankind) were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man (for the pre-tribulation rapture of his faithful saints). (40) Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. (41) Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. (42) Therefore, stay awake (by following Jesus), for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. (43) But know this, that if the master of the house (a saint) had known in what part of the night (that Jesus) the thief was coming (for his obedient saints), he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house (and heart to) be broken into (by yielding to sin). (44) Therefore you also must be ready (saints), for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
  • Proverbs 25:26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.
  • Revelation 3:3-4 Remember, then (saints), what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you (when you are left-behind to be disciplined in the tribulation). (4) Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments (with sinful disobedience), and they will walk with me in white (at the feast of Abraham), for they are worthy.
  • Revelation 7:13-14 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?" (14) I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are the (left behind disobedient saints, the) ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their (sin soiled) robes (by repenting) and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
In the Blink of an Eye: Dreams of saints who were left-behind at the rapture
  • Luke 21:34-36 "But watch yourselves (saints) lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and (the sinful) cares of this life, and that day (of the tribulation) come upon you suddenly like a trap. (35) For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. (36) But stay awake at all times (by following Christ's will for your life), praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place (in the tribulation), and to stand before the Son of Man (at the feast of Abraham in heaven)."

Where did Noah's dove rest when it was sent out for a third time after the flood?
Jesus comes to earth only two times.

The first time was when he was incarnated.
The second time will be at the last trumpet.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

At the last trumpet, the dead bodies of the saints will rise first and re-unite with their spirits, and then these saints will accompany Jesus to earth to meet in the air the Christians on earth who are waiting for them. The evil doers' bodies will also rise from the dead and re-unite with their spirits, and then everyone, both good and evil, will be judged at the white throne/sheep and goats judgment. John 5:28-29

1 Corinthians 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

There is no intermediate rapture. Jesus will not come to earth to physically rule in Jerusalem for a literal one thousand years. Jesus is spiritually ruling in heaven with his saints right now, and they will rule with him there until the time of his second coming to earth.

1 Corinthians 15:22-26 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Death will be destroyed forever at the last trumpet sound. At the last trumpet sound, the dead bodies of all people will rise and re-unite with their spirits, and then the saints will accompany Jesus to earth to meet in the air the saints still on earth who are waiting for him. The last judgment will take place, and after the judgment, the saints will be with Jesus forever. The unrepentant evildoers will be in hell forever.

The prophecies in the Book of Daniel were fulfilled in the first century AD.

The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled in the first century AD.

Matthew 24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—

What was this abomination that caused the desolation? The "Roman armies" were the abomination that caused the desolation of the temple and Jerusalem.

Luke 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.

Matthew 23:34-36 Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36
Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.

The temple, which is known as the heaven and earth of the Jews, will not have even one stone left standing:

Matthew 24:1-3 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen,

Matthew 24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—

Luke 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.

Matthew 24:33-35 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth
(the temple) will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
