Sweetly Pleasing To Our Heavenly Father (c:

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

So, even while Jesus was so suffering and being hated, on the cross, Jesus was sweet-smelling to our Father. And so, yes . . . as Jesus grows in us as our new inner Person (Galatians 4:19, 1 John 4:17), we become more and more sweetly pleasing to our Father, even while we go through hard things.

"For we are to God the fragrance of Christ" (in 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

So, while I am involved with any person, I can stay sweet with God and pleasantly pleasing Him, and not let any person or thing have power over me to get me elsewhere than sweetly and pleasantly sharing as family with God and with all of us in Jesus >

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

So, our forgiving in God's love, in Jesus, is sweetly :) "even as God" so lovingly and generously forgave us.
