"do All Things Without Complaining And Disputing," (in Philippians 2:13-16)

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain." (Philippians 2:13-16)

So, God works in us what He wants. And God is almighty in His grace so He succeeds in doing whatsoever He pleases, in us. And right after Paul says God works in us to have us do what He wants, what is the first thing Paul says for us to do? And this is what God in us will have us succeeding in doing >

Do every single thing and every m-a-r-r-i-e-d thing "without" complaining and arguing. If you are "without" something, how much of it do you have? And this includes all the stuff in us which has to do with arguing or complaining, and which can cause us to argue and complain with or against somebody else.

And if we with God live and love without any complaining and arguing, we will be more and more strong in God's love and His way of relating. And this love makes us "blameless and harmless" and "without fault" even right in this world's "crooked and perverse generation".

So, yes this is easily possible with God working in our character and our willing and doing.

God commands this blessed way of living in His love, and He commands this because He knows it is realistic to expect this, "in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation".

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;" (in Psalm 23:5)

So, right "in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation" > "in the presence of my enemies", we can have all which our Heavenly Father pleases to share with us, of His own table prepared before us. So, then, this is about how spiritual God is . . . not how great we ourselves can get ourselves to be. In God's love we have His own almighty safety >

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)

And in His grace we have this almighty power to succeed in doing whatsoever God is committed to do with us. So, then - - - we are satisfied in God's love so we are not complaining, plus we are guaranteed to succeed so we do not fuss and fight and argue and get hurt and frustrated . . . better and better as we grow in this in Jesus with each other.

So, there is no reason to accept less than God's own best in us. And when we fail, be encouraged to get more and more correction (Hebrews 12:4-11) of His love's perfection (1 John 4:17) so we are more and more sharing with You, O God, and with one another as Your family. And we rest in how God takes us along in His peace > Matthew 11:28-30, Psalm 37:7. Amen, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
