Either Super Mario Brothers on NES, or Zelda on NES, can't quite remember.

Now I have almost the entire libraries from several different systems back then on my phone now though (Including N64).

Shows how far we've come now.

And it doesn't take up hardly any memory at all, etc.

God Bless.

I believe it was Smurfs for the 2600, though Snoopy vs. the Red Baron (2600) was the first game I mastered. Didn't really get in to gaming until I got a NES though, which came with Super Mario Bros+Duck Hunt+World Class Track Meet. Ducktales (NES) was the first game I ever beat. Once I discovered the local video rental store had games as well, that pretty much became most my weekends for the 90s. Oh yeah, and the church library had some games to check out as well, although Spiritual Warfare (NES) was pretty much the only good one.

I can't remember if it was Pong or Space Invaders. I'm pretty sure Pong was first but Space Invaders took over as soon as I played it. I felt very fortunate we had a family ahred Atari before most kids in the neighborhood. We were on welfare at the time and it was like the line in a famous tupac song "Mama made miracles every Thanksgiving" (or Christmas). I don't remember who got to open the present but it went in order of big big brother, big brother, then I got a chance to play.

EDIT: I remember my cousin had a Calecovision but the controller was crazy complicates and so were the games. My little brain hadn't developed enough to play a controller with knobs and numbers. I was used to one joystick and one button.

The first game I probably played was Donkey Kong. My dad bought me and my siblings a stand alone console and it came with that game loaded. It was yellow and this was the 1980s. I liked that game. My dad went onto buy my brothers gaming consoles and I enjoyed playing Super Tennis with them and Mario's world. There was also be a bit of Street Fighter as well and I liked being Chung Li. It never made any of us at all violent.
Just recently I bought myself a DSXL and some retro games for me to pass the time, I am still yet to use it though.
