Oh - life is going to be such fun over the next few days till I have my new Internet provider connection sorted out
I'll be off to Church in about an hour for our Service this morning and hopefully the weather will be kind to us all today

Weather is mixed but nothing extreme. I'm up to my eyes in work. People pulling out of me from all directions...

Things don't seem to be getting much better weatherwise here

I'm shattered. trying to get all the assorted junk of years of folk saying " it might come in useful some day" - and it hasn't

Now it's me who has to get shot of it all before anything happens to me

It's now Saturday & I've now absolutely nothing to show for my efforts !
Will not be heading over for Services this weekend not fit to drive [ Yes have seen my GP and getting some blood letting done ]

As I said to my Priest only yesterday, when I was having a wee word with him - I am so grateful for the support we all give each other and certainly my Parish really feel like members of my family - indeed we are Family. He grinned at me and asked me if I'd only just realised that

I work at Target and I had a few people recognize me from Church (I never introduced myself to anyone from Church). It makes me realize how "small" my town of 290,000 people is.

It's been not at all bad here today [ though I did read on my iPhone that it would be reasonably spring-like till the weekend and then....................................... [ I'll leave you to guess and fill in the gaps ]

at present when I'm just thinking my problems have finally gone ---------------

I have a bedside clock with a really clear illuminated display that says its radio controlled , and I don't think I"ve ever had to anything to it BUT now I can't get it to show the correct time and today its alarms kept sounding [ they are very quiet I have to admit ] BUT since some really kind person made a mess of work that the Power company were doing and caused a loss of power for about 5.5 HOURS I have not managed to reset my clock and there is absolutely no way that I'll have this thing waking me up every few hours --- Time for a new one I think

Oh well better go and get some fluid down me

What happened to yesterday ?

When I was heading upstairs yesterday to check something I spotted a "ROAD CLOSED AHEAD " sign and sighed

Are we likely to get someone else going through a large power cable and plunging us into a power outage lasting for about 6 hours ?

We will wait and see
