Do I have an anxiety disorder?

Okay, i just discovered this particular forums and i have some questions. It hasn't happened in a couple of months now, but i used to obsesse over one thing (normally something silly) for weeks and weeks, and nearly everynight i would work myself up enough so that i would get sweaty, shaky and my stomach would hurt. Basically i felt like i had the flue. (which is bad, since one of my obsessions was fear of being sick) usually there is a couple months between each session and my time is nearly up here. Im thinking (and hoping) iv'e grown out of this, but i know i could probably get another one if the right problem came along.
Just typing this is making me a bit nervous. Does anyone know what is (or was) wrong with me?

Allright babe...no one on this forum can diagnose you with having an anxiety disorder...for all you know...you actually might have worried yourself sick with a real flu.

What kind of silly things do you obsess about? If you don't mind me asking??

first it was demons, that lasted about five months, then it was the flue or being sick, for about two months, then it was death, that was the shortest, only one or two weeks, my most recent was fear of being gay, for two months, over which time i developed a nice case of homophobia.

Obsessive compulsive disorder probably...or maybe demons...continue to pray that healing will come, but it might not...God might use you to help others that deal with this too.
