Okay, now explain how the Devil “lost that power”.

What was the Power behind sin?

Oh Death, where is your sting… your sting is in sin… and the power behind sin is…… ?!?
You don’t understand how the devil lost the power over death when Jesus took the death penalty at the Cross? Without the Sacrifice of Jesus all humanity would have been lost because all man has sinned and deserves death, the penalty for breaking God’s law and sinning. Rom 6:23

Where did that come from? We were talking about Genesis 2 and Revelation 12.

Where do you think calling him the serpent came from? Genesis 2. And calling him the serpent in Revelation 12 doesn't mean Genesis 2 is poetry and meaningless. It's further verification of Genesis 2.

Besides where did the crime of murder come from if Adam and Eve hadn't already sinned?
I’m not trying to be a rear end, here. It’s Genesis 3.

At Genesis 3:14, we see Hebrews 2:14 fulfilled in the Devil being “cursed” with the power of death.

We confirm this true because God, again, refers to dust in Genesis 3:19

The Beginning potion of Hebrews 2:14 is fulfilled in what is called the Proto Evangelium, which we read in Genesis 3:16… The “Serpent” strikes the heal (Crucifies Christ), but the foot comes down and crushes the “serpent’s” Head. (By Crucifying Christ under the Law, pertaining to bringing false charges against GOD and Murdering our innocent Lord and Savior, under the Law) The serpent instantly became condemned by the very thing that the serpent had used to condemn man, before God (Rev 12:10) and lost his power.

What “was” the power behind sin, right up until Christ was Crucified?

Yes, He loved us while we were still sinners, it doesn’t mean He will save us when we continue in that path. Mat 7:21-23 Heb 10:26-30 Rev 22:15 1 John 2:4. We need to have a conversion. Christ does not want us to live unrighteousness and unholy lives.

You cut out a bunch of context from that passage. Jesus is not saying the opposite of what He said. He clearly says if you want to have eternal life, keep the commandments and quotes directly from the Ten Commandments, its not an isolated teaching see Mat 5:19-30 Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Rev 22:14-15 1 John 2:3-6 What Jesus is saying in v 18 is that He is God.

I suggest to read the whole context, for example in John 3:16 read past that verse down to John 3:20. There is a condemnation, for those who choose to stay in darkness (sin) instead of coming to the Truth to God’s Word (to the light). People stay in darkness because their deeds are evil and they don’t want to change. Jesus has some wonderful promises, but they are conditional. He doesn’t ask for much, but He wants us to live holy and righteous lives.
I have read the entire context. I read the Gospels in totality. From the first chapter of each gospel, to the last.

It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

However, what happened to the man that gathered sticks on the Sabbath, back in Moses time?

According to 1 Cor 15… what “was” the Power behind sin?

That’s why Jesus has that key!

What point are you trying to make by contrasting what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath verses what is.

Our fallen nature. It's why Cain murdered Abel.

I will express an opinion. I think that you will suggest context is missing, when it disagrees with you opinion of what scripture means, and if an entire chapter is quoted that has full context, and disagrees with your opinion, you would go elsewhere within scripture to attempt to uphold your opinion. Perhaps we are all guilty of this. How many of us have the humility to acknowledge that only Jesus Christ.. is the TRUTH, while we merely scratch and claw at perceptions? Sometimes, I am humble. Sometimes, I grow proud and struggle to acknowledge that I am look into the glass dimly.

Luke 5:31-32 King James Version (KJV)

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Did Adam and Eve have a "fallen nature"?
Brother, no! From the following passage it would seem that what you are talking about begins at birth. Adam and Eve were born into a world without sin except Satan. This means that Jesus did not have it because He did not begin at His birth from Mary, but rather He already lived before taking human form. Other verses may have more to say on the subject.

The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies. (Psalm 58:3 NKJV)

Interesting.... So Adam and Eve didn't have a fallen nature. What or who derailed those children of God, who had been given dominion over the Earth, under the Kingship of Almighty God?

I was referring to Mat 19. You removed a very important question that was asked of Jesus on what we have to do to have eternal life. He answered the question- will we believe His answer. He never said what He asks was too hard, so therefore stop trying. That was not His answer. The rich young ruler while he may have been keeping some of the commandments -Jesus told us to keep the least of them, Mat 5:19 which means all, he placed his great riches above following Jesus breaking the very first commandment to have no other gods before Him. While the rich ruler went away sad, he wanted to follow Jesus but one his terms, not Christs. This is an important lesson for us all, that we are to be doers of His Word. James 1:22

You do realize that Jesus was being followed by Jews that knew the importance of "Following the Law" and they were sincere followers of Him, correct? You think his teachings weren't too hard? Then why do we have this? John 6:66

John identifies WHO the word is. James was his brother. In the beginning was THE WORD.

Context. Please read James 1:22-24 it is about God's written Word that Jesus who is the WORD lived out. We are to be doers of God's Word, not just hearers James 1:22. What's the point of hearing God's Word but not responding to it, that only leads to deception.

Because many trust in themselves instead of the power of Jesus John 14:15-18

So I take it you don't believe the answer Jesus gave. Thats a choice one can make. Many people believe in Jesus but not His teachings much like the rich young ruler.

Jesus IS the Law. Jesus IS the Word. Jesus IS salvation. Jesus IS YHWH. Jesus IS the Way. Jesus IS the Truth. I'm not going to Isaiah 14:14, anytime soon.
