As you said in post 5237, God's already predestined, ordained and decided for me that I'm going to be an atheist that's good for nothing except serving as someone to be walked all over so other people can win. That's all I'm here for. I'm just one of the millions of conscious, sentient creatures that God created purely for the purpose of being stepped on as others climb over us. We're to be discarded after use, utterly worthless. That's what you claimed, isn't it?

So no, according to your own claims, I can't choose for myself, and your attempts at platitudes come across as insincere and dismissive.

Us who are truly going there do not step on you, but you accost/frustrate/challenge/attack/persecute or otherwise "step on" "us", by then which we are elevated, and eventually all the way elevated/grown up fully, and that's how it really works, etc.

And I would seriously argue the truly "conscious" or "sentient" part, since that can be a "perspective", and on it's highest levels takes an acute awareness of God, and an acute awareness of the True God, etc.

And you will be "recycled", "forever", etc, if not in this creation, then in the ones after it, and maybe you already were in the ones preceding it, and that is forever, and is (your existence) just for the ones going beyond this after, etc.

And whether you are truly here for any more than that/this, might be up to you, or it might not, but is for you to seek to find out and ask, etc.

Secondly, the only thing that worries me about your beliefs is how someone can hold a belief that leads them to conclude a whole group of people are inferior and deserve to be simply used up.

Of course, that only works if God is limited by logic.

If God is NOT limited by logic, he could make me a believer with a snap of his fingers without forcing his will on me.

And if the crux of your argument is to claim, "But God doesn't work the way we expect him to work," you can't then turn around and say that my suggestion wouldn't work.

Specifically, with regards to your post in post 527, I had asked Why doesn't God just snap his fingers and make non-believers into believers. You replied in post 527 by saying that they, "are only here to help others becomes the highest and greatest versions of themselves and go beyond this life here."

We were SPECIFICALLY talking about non-believers and you specifically stated that you believe they (and "they" refers to non-believers) are only here to be stepped on by believers as they get rewarded.

Just because you and I can do something doesn't mean we will do it. We make choices. I don't see God being any different. Do you wish he would force his will on you? Sometimes when I'm frustrated with my shortcomings I feel that way.

When my daughter refused to bathe, I would make her. I would force my will on her because I knew the alternative was worse. Same thing when it came to her refusing to eat a balanced diet, or go to bed.

Those examples are all viewed as perfectly acceptable. No one would say I was being a bad mother for doing those things. But when it comes to God doing a similar thing to save me from eternal suffering in hell, everyone thinks that's going to far. All of a sudden, my free will is so much more important, even though the suffering is so much worse.
