I've already opined that I don't think President Trump's relatives are likely to become big in politics after him, but it may not depend too much if he is re-elected or not. George H. W. Bush lost re-election but the party turned to his son thereafter and he was elected president twice.

Is there a Joseph Kennedy III anywhere around their family line? Doubt it.

After the deaths of JFK and RFK the Kennedy line kind of stumbled. Teddy had Chappaquidick. Patrick had addiction problems.

The Shrivers, God bless them, seemed like the best of the bunch. Maria is an excellent journalist with good ethical values. Timothy runs Special Olympics, goes to daily Mass and has a chapel in his house.

But then, out of the blue comes Joseph Kennedy III. Progressive, passionate, idealistic. So clean-living he was dubbed "the milkman" in college because he wouldn't drink alcohol. Worked in the Jesuit missions in Central America for a year. Preparing to run for the Senate in Massachusetts, apparently. It took a skipped generation, but it seems as if Camelot is back.

Maybe if Mar a Lago skips a generation, it is possible that there may be a young person of character and intelligence who will usher in a Trump era of honesty. I don't see anyone in the current generation who would qualify. It will take more than the Trump name for a new Trump to lead. It will really take complete rebranding.

The first thing that would have to happen would be minimizing contact with negative influences in.their lives.
Perhaps a good Washington school would help. Sidwell Friends? Quakers seem about as different from Trump values as one could get, so that school could give the children some balance and counteract the negative influences in their lives.
