He hasn't committed any crimes.
By his own admission, he committed fraud with Trump University & Trump Foundation; he's liable for sexual abuse, and his organization committed tax fraud under his leadership. He also obstructed justice during the Mueller investigation. Those are all beyond question.

How easily you dismiss his many crimes. You approve of them?
Please take a moment and list the crimes he has been convicted of.
I am just curious.

Fraud (Trump University)
Fraud (Trump Foundation)
Sexual Abuse
Tax Fraud (Trump Org)

... to name a few.

Do you approve of them?

Do you approve of his multiple adulterous affairs? His efforts to conceal them?

I do not approve of any sins any of us commit. Mine, yours. Bidens. No ones.
If voting for people means we approve of their sins, we should vote for nobody. Who has not sinned? Anyone??? Hmmmm?

Though you are able to forgive much, some of us haven’t reached this level of being able to forgive Mister Trump his many instances of self serving and fraud and will vote accordingly.

You're moving those goalposts pretty quickly.

Who exactly should a Christian vote for on this ballot?
I do not see anyone who lives up to the standard, so we cannot vote for anyone.
Which is the desired goal, I suspect.

There are so many of them that I had to shrink the list, but here you go. This is in addition to the fraud and sexual abuse already listed.

The problem with voting for Trump is that if Trump gets elected, in about 5-10 years time it will lead to increasingly widespread attacks against Christians in the U.S.

It's like voting for yourself and your children to be persecuted in a real way. With actual violence and widespread slanders and being publicly condemned more and more and so on.

While as Christians we are going to be disapproved of, we should not vote into office someone that will bring down so much condemnation and disapproval of Christianity over time.

In the epistles we learn we are to live in a way that is respectable, so that the world will find it hard to disapprove of us, and thus the gospel can better reach more people sooner.

I’m as lefty as they come, but I will happily drive Christians to polling places, because no matter their denomination I know that they’ll try to vote their consciences. Most Christians are good peopl, and on the whole, I tend to trust their judgments even as I vigorously disagree with them.

These are just a backwater forum, we have maybe 100 regular posters here in a given week, though we’re influential enough to create “Poe’s Law”…so know know we can have reach further than these humble “pages” might suggest but this, right here, this bantering-back-and-forth…this is what it’s always been.

But after years of it every. single. day. Everyone gets tired of it, but it must go on, here, this is where we do things and invent thoughts*, and to “hold-forth”, this is the “soapbox-in-the-park” of 120 years ago.

*I have had two original-thoughts (that I generally keep to myself in case I see them “elsewhere” and can peek of where it might have originated and when.
