Writers Guild Statement of Purpose
The Writer's Guild main forum is for discussion and inquiries of professional writing information. This is the forum to discuss getting published, where to find sources of publishing, finding an agent, and so on.

Creative Writing:
This subforum is for members to share their creative writings with other members, to seek feedback if requested, and to in general share the talents of writing. Creative writings are made up in the most convincing way possible. It is not academic nor technical but seeks to draw in an audience.
Poetry & Prose:
This subforum is for members to specifically share poetry and prose. Poetry offer unique structure that the writer tends to use various senses when writing. Prose is short stories, essays and writings that use everyday grammar and punctuation. Some writers combine both poetry and prose. Writing that is in these formats belong in this subforum.
Scripts & Screenplays:
This subforum is for members who are writing for film, television, video games. They may be original or taken from existing pieces of writing, to make them come alive in a way that can be used in one of the above formats.
Limitations and Restrictions:
All posts must comply with the site wide rules.
Writing that is presented her belongs to the author of it. Writings that do not belong to you must be given credit to the original author. Remember that quoting the works of others are limited to 20%.
