Whose Report Will You Believe
for Your Healing?
Isa 53:1
1 Who hath believed our report? (KJV)
Isaiah framed the question for us for all time in the verse above. Consequently, when it comes to our healing the question still is this: "Whose report will we believe?" We must choose to believe the report of the Lord. What else do any of us have?
Therefore, this is our report when one of our family is sick. "By His stripes we are healed," is not only our report when one of our loved ones is sick, it is our battle cry. This is the report we believe because this is the report of the Lord. This report is reported by both Isaiah and Peter:
Isa 53:5
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (KJV)
1 Pet 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV)
We sometimes need help here. We may need others to pray specifically for us at least three (3) TIMES A DAY until their disease is broken. Sometimes ours may be one of those situations where it may require all the reinforcements we can muster.
Matt 18:19-20
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV)
We can call on others not only to pray but also to battle. Read Deuteronomy 2 for a full explanation of the battle we must fight. We must follow the instructions in these Scriptures. Will you help us pray and battle for our loved ones? The battle for them is on! Will you help?
The Deuteronomy Factor in Your Healing
I mentioned the warfare of Deuteronomy 2. These same principles must be followed explicitly by you and me. Following them ensures our victory while disregarding them may spell defeat for us as we go after our healing. See Chapter Two in our book, How to Obtain Abraham's Blessings. Three things are essential here.
1. You can neither peacefully coexist with the devil nor his sickness. Moses tried this with Sihon but Sihon would have nothing of it. This resulted in a fight to the death.
Deut 2:30
But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: (KJV)
2. When you rout the devil on one front, he will come at you from another. Be not alarmed at this because we have the victory guaranteed to us in advance.
Deut 3:21-22
21And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you. (KJV)
3. We must be armed to the teeth at all times.
Deut 3:18
18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war. (KJV)
These three principles must be utilized in our fight for the healing of our loved ones. See How to Obtain Abraham's Blessings.
You cannot co-exist with Sickness
I said you cannot peacefully coexist with the devil or his sicknesses. Moses tried this with Sihon who would have nothing of it. Some sicknesses are progressive and to peacefully coexist with them is a slow sentence of death.
The great essential for us to learn today is this: We must not even consider attempting to peacefully coexist with any sickness, but we must declare an all out war against it.
Any thing less than this all out war is a prescription for defeat. Any thing less than all out war is to attempt to peacefully coexist with it. This will not work.
Furthermore, we must be armed to the teeth at all times. This speaks of our weapons of warfare. We must carry them with us at all times. And what are these weapons of warfare?
We cover this fully in Chapters 3 and 4 of How to Obtain Abraham's Blessings. In Chapter 3, we describe our primary weapon, the sword of the Spirit and show you how Jesus used it and in Chapter 4, we show several scriptures to use against any satanic sickness.
This book, walked out, will give you victory over a devil induced sickness. It is your main battle plan. Follow everything in it for your victory. This book is so simple to read and follow. Start now! Get armed and ready!
Also remember, victory over sickness has already been guaranteed to us. Again, see chapter 4. In this chapter, we give you an abundance of healing scriptures.
This shows the will of God concerning all sickness for all time. We simply need to know what to do, how to do it and then do it. This book is essential
Your holiness or lack of holiness has nothing to do with it
Thank God that your level of holiness has nothing to do with your ability to get your loved ones healed. Take the case of Peter.
In Acts 3, he used the name of Jesus to get the man lying at the Temple Gate healed. In so doing, he declared that his level of holiness had nothing to do with the healing.
Acts 3:12
And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? (KJV)
I cannot over-emphasize the importance of this principle: Getting your loved one healed is not dependent upon your level of holiness!
If it was, then no one would ever be healed. Even Peter knew his level of holiness had nothing to do with the lame man's healing.
The devil will sidetrack you in this misunderstanding first. If he can make you believe that the healing of yourself or your loved one is in any way conditioned upon your own level of holiness, no healing will occur for you or your loved one!
Why? Because not one of us, including Peter, has enough holiness to get any one healed.
We have two books on this subject which disarms the devil completely as he tries to peddle his "you are not holy enough" lie.
Read them free on the Internet. Those books are How to Exercise God's Megaton Power Now and You Can be Healed when You Don't Feel Worthy Enough.
Thank God! Our level of holiness has nothing to do with our ability to get a loved one healed. That ability is based on the word of God, not our holiness! Click the links above to get your free copies of these two faith building books today.
Neither is there healing in any other
Acts 4:12 is not translated right in my opinion. The entire context of Acts 3 and 4 is the healing of the lame man at the Temple Gate.
This is the occasion of Peter's declaration that his holiness had nothing to do with it. See above. But the translators gave us this:
Acts 4:12
12 Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED. (KJV)
when they should have given us this:
Acts 4:12
Neither is there HEALING in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be HEALED. (KJV)
Why is this? You see the Greek word for "saved" is SODZO. This is also one of the Greek words for "healed." Furthermore, SODZO is used here.
But SODZO in this context has nothing to do with the salvation of the soul. This context pertains to the healing of the lame man at the Temple Gate. Read it for yourself and see.
In other words, God gave no name for our healing except the name of Jesus. When our "arm of the flesh" has failed, the name of Jesus will work because that is the name God left us for our healing to start with.
Mark it well. There is no other name for healing. This is God's doing and there simply is no other name for healing.
For details of this great truth, see our two books, Healing for the Rest of Us and How to be Healed Using Spiritual Warfare.
A new Healing Scripture for you
There are many great healing scriptures. Sometimes, however, you run across one that you have seen before that God has not yet quickened to you. Then, he quickens it to you and you see complete new revelations in it that you have never seen before.
Isa 57:19
I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. (KJV)
Who is the person who is afar off? Who is the person who is near?
In our book, The Unbroken Force of Abraham's Blessings, I devote an entire chapter to the words, terms and phrases applied to the Abrahamic Seed Group in the Old Testament. Then I demonstrate that the same words, terms and phrases are applied to the same group in the New Testament.
(We call the Abrahamic Seed Group Christians in the New Testament but we call them Jews in the Old Testament. They are the same identical group of people in both Testaments. In the New, however, the Gentile Christians are simply grafted into the Old Testament Group.)
In our verse above, two terms are used. The person "near" is the Jew in the Old Testament. The person who is "far off" is the Gentile in the Old Testament. These same terms are used by Paul in Ephesians.
Eph 2:12
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off (Gentiles) are made nigh (near: Jews) by the blood of Christ. (KJV) Parentheses mine.
These two, the far off and the near, are both equal in the Abrahamic covenant now since Gentiles who receive Christ are grafted in along with and equal to the Jews. They both now make up the Abrahamic Seed Group and are both promised healing from the hand of God.
The point is this; God will now heal the Gentile Christian (the far off person) as will as the Old Testament Jew (the near person. He said above, "I will heal him."
Why not? God promised healing in the Abrahamic covenant to both Jew and Gentile. No wonder Isaiah saw this and recorded it for us. Learn the terms, words and phrases and you will have an understanding you never had before.
We have now come full circle
We started this Mini e-Book with the question: Whose report will you believe? Then we explored the following progression looking for our answer:
· The Deuteronomy Factor in our Healing
· We cannot co-exist with sickness
· Our holiness or the lack of it has nothing to do with it
· Neither is there healing in any other
· A new Healing Scripture for you
We must believe the report of God. Because there is healing in no other. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, in sickness too.
I John 5:14, 15 says, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, thatif we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know thatHe hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that wehave asked of Him".
