Not in Leviticus nor Deuteronomy.
And the libations shall be offered with it: two tenths of flour tempered with oil, for a burnt offering of the Lord, and a most sweet odour. Libations also of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

The word is in neither the Hebrew nor the Greek Scriptures.
Obviously, it is an English word, spelled using Roman letters. It cannot therefore be in Hebrew letters nor in Greek letters. And the spelling in Hebrew and Greek differ too. See, as an example, Leviticus 23:13.

נֵסֶךְ נֶסֶךְ
nesek nêsek
neh'-sek, nay'-sek
From H5258; a libation; also a cast idol: - cover, drink offering, molten image.
Total KJV occurrences: 64

Lev 23:13 καὶ τὴν θυσίαν αὐτοῦ δύο δέκατα σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ--θυσία τῷ κυρίῳ, ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας κυρίῳ--καὶ σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ τὸ τέταρτον τοῦ ιν οἴνου.

Why did your posts make this thread into a fight about "libation"? What has it to do with the topic anyway?

The thread is about old testament types of Christ, the show-bread, the libation wine, both point Jesus sacrifice, both point in a different way to Christ in the Holy Eucharist? Why do your posts fight against what is a very clear type and anti-type relationship between the showbread and Christ's body in the Eucharist and similarly with the libation wine spilled on the sacrifices and the ground and the blood of the Lord spilled on the cross and the ground? Really, is this just one big war to wage against whatever Catholicism has to say about the Holy Eucharist?

Which facts (post #8) you do not address.
I typed this before, you may have missed it.
  • The english word "libation" is not Hebrew and it is not Greek, it is English written in Roman letters so it is indeed not in the Hebrew text of the old testament nor in the Greek text of the New Testament. No one expects English words written in the Roman alphabet to be in a Hebrew text or a Greek text.
  • The Hebrew word נֵסֶךְ or נֶסֶךְ is how one spells "libation" in Hebrew with Hebrew letters.
  • Leviticus in written in Hebrew. Leviticus 23:13 includes the word above therefore libation is in the Law contained in Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
Leviticus 23:13 DRB And the libations shall be offered with it: two tenths of flour tempered with oil, for a burnt offering of the Lord, and a most sweet odour. Libations also of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

Now, can we please return to the thread's topic and leave this frustrating side shunt caused by my stupidity in replying to your obviously incorrect post.

If only you had included the rest of my post, it would have been so much more satisfying.
