Who is Kathryn Krick aka Apostle Kathryn? Is she Fake?

She responded to accusations against her in this video:

I watched some. She said people who were critical of her were pharisees sent by the devil and anyone disagreeing with her was disagreeing with Jesus.

But she didn't address the content of any criticisms. While it is not a pleasant experience to have people being critical of you and many do this without gentleness and respect I think it's always wise to address the substance of the issue.

From what she said she was unsure of her direction then a 'prophet' gave her a word of knowledge that she had an apostolic gifting. So it is possible in theory that if she's not an apostle that she has been deceived.

She' preaches a gospel message in the park. Good. Don't need to claim to be an apostle to do that? Maybe she's got an evangelists heart? Luke 15:10, the angels in heaven rejoice over one person who repents- hopefully she'll reach many.

I'm a bit late to the discussion. I think even within this community there is some hesitancy to immediately call someone who performs signs and wonders as legitimate. I would say what fruit is she bearing? You will always know a tree by it's fruit. People can stage and fake healings, exorcisms, etc. But are the people she is interacting with turning from their sin and living holy.

She says a lot of good stuff, be intimate with God, receive his anointing, bring God's kingdom to the earth, etc. I've not heard any mention in the dozen or so Tiktoks of hers that I've watched about repenting of sins. Not saying she doesn't talk about it, but it's not on any that I've seen and that is a red flag for me anyway.

For me, bottom line is I've met a few "apostles" and most were just upset that more mainline churches and denominations wouldn't give them a platform than actually possessing a ministry God gave them.

I thought the criteria for being an apostles was being sent by the risen Lord, himself. To the best of my knowledge, all the NT apostles fit that criteria and none who don't are referred to in that way. It would be interesting to see if she, or anyone else who uses that title, makes that claim.

Ope, I was incorrect. Apostles would usually plant churches but later in church history it changed to where folks who were over "a network" of churches that they planted were called Bishops. My mistake.

Allow me to amend my response from earlier, based off this video from the Last Reformation.

They discuss Kathryn and have a video of her speaking at about the 59:15 mark, it extends up through the 1 hr and 30 minute mark or so. She is talking about how as believers we need more than just the Holy Spirit in order to move in power. This is certainly not a biblical teaching, so for me, she should be avoided. Just another "I have a special gift so follow me" deal and that type of thing is not of Jesus

Maybe, these videos you post are suspect at best, but this isn't about TLR (we can start another thread on this topic if you'd like). This is about Kathryn. It may help to watch the video between the time stamps I provided too to see what they are talking about.

I keep returning to this forum and searching for her name thinking that someone must have started a discussion about her here. But over the past few months each time I search there are no results. She’s gaining loads of attention on TikTok with her healings, referring to herself as “apostle Kathryn”.Every Sunday she goes live and cast out demons from people who attend her service in the park in Los Angeles, this is a regular occurrence. She has videos all over her TikTok doing this. I’m just curious what everyone here thinks.

Ms. Krick is a false teacher, she twists the word of God to suit her. So much of what she says is true, but so much is a twist of the Bible or parts left out that doesn't suit her agenda, she takes many things out of context and sometimes changes it completely.

There is a way the sweet sweet holy Spirit/Christ talks about others. So what makes a "false teacher"? Be shocked at how many times that "false teacher" is saying something you personally don't agree with so duh they are false. Oh sure they like you say Jesus came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds sin was buried rose from the grave 3 days later and is the only way to the Father. Yeah..HELLO..thats what matters. Yet they are the false one no you or me huh.

So who is the real prophet or Apostle? Bet its someone you like. Well if we truly know the lord we know thats not how works or moves. He tends to use people we would have nothing every to do with Its amazing how the sweet sweet holy Spirit moves and who He uses.

Someone I disagree with and do no follow yet are of GOD thats Benny Hinn. See the kicker is.. they said yes... they said here I am use me. There are many false out there but your not going to see or know who they are by some video on YOUTUBE that says exposed. Why? Thats not how the holy Spirit works. See HE talks to you face to face. To many talk about someone not here can't defend or answer back. And we know we would never want to be treated like that.

Yet we forget these are the ones HE DIED FOR! The ones He is out there helping.. seeking someone to pray and not give up.... to speak words of life. To judge you can but that price is HUGE.. see if not done in love to help to point to Christ.. then God will judge us the way we are judging HIS kids not ours. I am saved but that does not give me the right to touch you or them. For when you fall and get it wrong.. your Father GOD is still with you and if I touch you I am touching Him. HE has to be the one directing us to call them out.. when that happens you are talking face to face with them.. praying with them..

I understand what you are saying, but I think we have a responsibility to warn others about false teachers. The Apostles in scripture had no issue with calling out false doctrines and false teachers, some were even named for all of humanity to know "this person is a false teacher". So it's not unscriptural to say beware of such a person.

Perhaps with the warning we should pray for them as well, that God would open their eyes to the error they espouse and bring them into true repentance and fellowship. We should be praying that for all people actually. But to say we shouldn't warn others about falsehood because that's not "How the Holy Spirit works" is not biblically accurate.
