The fact is Easter is not a Federal or government holiday. It is a day of religious observance.
It is mockery and blasphemy to have a President proclaimed holiday that swipes Christian Symbols, the very name, Easter, and squishes it all together into a secular observance, Transgender Day with Easter Eggs and Bunnies (no Christ or cross allowed, not even the mention)
If Biden meant to have secular "federal honor day" he should have left Easter out of his "separation of church and state" mouth.

That is true. Something is going on here in 2024. At this point, the government should not create new holidays. The US government has to take two steps back. ...it's interesting how fragile "Christian" identity is for many in this country. I recall a time when my the church of my childhold discouraged participation in Easter egg hunts as it had nothing to do with the Easter message.

That's the world. We are not of this world. The egg and the rabbits are both symbols of fertility celebrating the pagan goddess of fertility.
Why not observe the resurection as being the Feast of First Fruits and learn from it.
"Christ our First Fruits".
This gives assurance that we will be raised from our graves incorruptable one day just as Jesus. Or snatched away while still alive.
Why focus on what the world is celebrating?

Yeah, that is true. 2086 is a long time from now. I might be alive, unless WWIII happens (age 86 in 2086). But hey, 15 years of existence is relatively recent for a holiday, and almost no one talked about it 15 years ago.
