The ends of the earth are where I live .. in Australia :)

Beside the joke .. 'the ends of the earth' is imagery / a metaphor I would say, not a specific place as our world is a sphere and has no end. But relatively to Jerusalem and Israel, somewhere in the Pacific Ocean would be pretty much the 'end of the earth'.

The Bible says different, is God's word not to be believed now ?

Please elaborate on your interpretation; then I may be able to respond more meaningfully?

Understanding what a Hebrew or Greek text means now, requires first what it meant back then for its original audience.

The "ends of the earth" is an idiom essentially meaning "afar". An example in Scripture where it cannot mean that the earth has ends is Deuteronomy 28:49 KJV

"The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand"

This is a section of Scripture where the nation of Israel was warned of what would happen if the people do not listen or obey the Lord. And it did happen, not once but twice. But in each case the nation that came against Israel was not literally from "the end of the earth", but from Assyria and Babylon. These were two nations outside of Israel but were considered in those times to be from "afar" and at "the end of the earth", and they both attacked Israel and exiled them.

Idioms use every day terms which don't have literal meanings. I'm sure Wales has some. Ireland has them too. One which I have heard often through the years is "How's she cuttin'?" That doesn't mean somebody is cutting up anything or anybody! It means "how are you"?

And sometimes an answer to this question is "I'm suckin' diesel". But I've never seen anybody suck diesel! In more formal language it means "I'm very well".

When you see that "ends of the earth" is an idiom for "afar", then the Bible becomes much clearer in what is intended by those words.

These are more references to ancient Israelite cosmology.

Job 37:18 ESV
[18] Can you, like him, spread out the skies, hard as a cast metal mirror?

Job 26:10 ESV
[10] He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.

Amos 9:6 NASB1995
[6] The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, The Lord is His name.

Daniel 4:11 NASB1995
[11] The tree grew large and became strong And its height reached to the sky, And it was visible to the end of the whole earth.

This makes one wonder about the rest of scripture, I mean if we don't believe Genesis 1 to be true how can we believe the rest ?

This is one of the reasons I believe that Genesis 1 is true to it's word today as it will be for ever.

I never said that Genesis was not "True".

The Catholic Church was upset at Galileo when he pointed out that the solar system wasn't geocentric. But that didn't mean that Genesis 1 wasn't true.

He established the earth on its foundations, So that it will not be moved forever and ever.

In case anyone hasn't seen this yet:

Job 26:10 ESV
[10] He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.

Isaiah 40:22 NASB1995
[22] It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

Proverbs 8:27 ESV
[27] When he established the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
