When I was watching I thought of the lion and how his roar is to frighten his prey to make them easier to attack. Small wonder the lion is compared to satan and his methods.

I have questioned why that those hours of the night seem to be so spiritually active and especially for the devil. That's a good point though that Jesus died at 3pm and 3am is its' opposite so satan is more likely to attack then. I had not thought of that before.

Heron I suddenly realised that in the entertainment world we have lost "the king of pop, an angel and a product pitchman" all within about 3 days of one another. I don't know, but these deaths have stuck with me and I can't finger the reason exactly at the moment.

Me too. The media couldn't help but group them, but it also felt like there was an underlying grouping. More imagination on my part -- the people were too visible for their deaths to be connected, unless they all had botulism from the same party. Oh, you meant the symbolism of each.

Most of them being icons in the 70's made an impact on many adults around here... leading them to be more responsible with future preparations... aging parents, wills, medical check-ups. I'll bet the doctors are getting a tsunami of delinquent appointments.

I wondered if people were up late at night because we were supposed to be praying ... but then people die all over the world, and praying for these celebrities would be nothing unusual. Except for the impact that is made in the society... the responses.

That was an inspiring video on spiritual warfare... a good selection of illustrations. The demon in the sky reminded me of the merman dream, and the more recent invasion dream.

I usually forget that the sandals were soldier attire. Feet shod still had vulnerable ventilation slots.

So back to the 3AM visit, were there any more reflections on what the OP saw?

I woke up around 3 a.m. last week. I couldn't get back to sleep either. At one point I looked at the clock and noticed it said 3:33 a.m. I've been noticing 3:33 and other numbers like that as well though. Seems ever time I look at the clock it's 1:11, 2:22, or 3:33. Those are the ones I notice the most. Sometimes it's 4:44 or 5:55, but that's rare.
There have been other times that I've been woken up around 3 a.m. or else couldn't get to sleep until after 3 a.m. I don't know if there's any significance to it or not though. Maybe it is a time of being called to prayer and intercession.
Those recent celebrity deaths have stuck with me too for some reason. I just seem to think there's some kind of connection with them and in why all of them right around the same time.

You are likely in a different time zone then me, but I have had similar experiences, the paralazing...demonic presence, obviously you cant speak, I just ask JEsus to cover me in His blood ---in my mind, and it leaves right away.
There is likely a door opening, one that I had was I had a object with a demon on it, demons cling to objects.

Something similar happened to me years ago...when I first became a christian. Not to long ago on TBN, I think it was Perry Stone who sais:
Jewish men still wake up at 3am. - 6am. waiting to nhear from the Lord. Not sure which watch he called it??? The 4rth watch???? Anyways when The Lord is ready, he'll give a prophetic word during this time period.
This was just on tbn maybe a month or two ago.

The Bible does not say, 'when you see the number 3 consistently, take notice that God is speaking.'

I'm often up at 3 AM (working during the night has given me a strange daily rhythm), and I can tell you that there's nothing special about 3 AM.....Except, maybe, that when I'm working there, this is the time I start to think "Maaann, nothing to do, and a long way till 7 AM where I get off", and when I'm not working, it's "Maaaaan....I should probably go to bed!"

3:00 A.M. has significance for many Christians. The key thing is to listen to the Lord and pray. Prayer is key when being woken up by the Lord at any time.

If under a demonic attack, doing what you did was the right thing in the fact that you found peace and victory in the name of Jesus! It is at His name that demons must flee!

I would urge you to fervently pray and seek the face of the Lord concerning this. Pray throughout your entire house. If you have a prayer partner, now is the time for the 2 (or more) to come together and touch and agree. 1 can chase 1,000 but 2 can put 10,000 to flight.

That could be. Any sort of research might pull together needed information. Notice that NKorea was in the news again this morning.

I mentioned earlier that God historically and scripturally allows danger.

3AM is usually associated with the Devil's hour but God can also use this against Satan to give people dreams or messages. If you wake up after a dream at exactly 3AM it is I assume a dream from the Lord, our Father and such a dream at 3AM means it is very significant - meaning heavy dreams will occur and end at 3AM right on the dot. This happened to me last night, I ask my Father if I will have a heavy dream that night - last night and He said yes then I had a really heavy dream and I woke up at 3AM exactly on the dot. These words that I speak come from my Father, I talk to him literally every hour. It's very comforting.

When I talk to my Father, I talk to him directly with questions always acknowledging Jesus as his Son then my Father's voice will come like a clear thought in my head and He will always end with "My Son" after each answer and if I need clarification, He'll say "So says the Lord". This is how I talk to my Father. It's easy to get confused with your own thoughts and His but when that happens all you have to do is say, "Are these my thoughts or yours?" and He'll let you know through thought. It's not an actual voice but more like a thought in your head. Once you learn to do this continually it'll be much easier to communicate with Him. So try it. Some people it takes some time though but for me, it's very simple and the Lord's words that come in thought is very clear.

The depth or stage (delta, theta, Rem and so on) of sleep and dreaming..along with its timing "always" depends on "when" you fall asleep, not the time on a clock. Common sense is a good thing and a God thing.

If one believes it is God talking to you at a specific time of night, then I think that the dreamer has become overly superstitious in their spiritual walk, and that they are hard of hearing in the daylight. Having said that, I have seen that when people have taken to believing such things, God will use that opportunity to get through to them concerning "important" issues purely because He knows you will really listen to Him at that hour.....and then there is the flip side of that same coin ...satan, who knows you have come to believe in such things, arrives and uses that sleepy vulnerable hour to imitate that which is sacred.

So, you can see that when one is aware that undisturbed sleep is needed for our good health and sound minds, this is not an ideal belief to engage in. The Father cares about the whole person, including a healthy nights sleep. He actually gets messages through to us all day long....many more times than most people are aware of.

After then I heard almost a voice gentle, but firm, saying "take note of the time". I ignored the first time becuase I was tired and when I couldn't breathe the oxygen supply was limited to the brain so I had a bit of a headache, then I heard it again firm but gentle "take note of the time". It was 3am.

I agree that superstitions need to be avoided, especially when trying to understand God's heart. God builds character and refines us. It is our souls' health he is most concerned about, not regiments and coincidences.

Often dreams lead us to find more information; I wonder if looking into it more, you found anything meaningful.

Joh 16:2 "They will make you outcasts from the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God.

some believe that 3am is a crucial time to pray if one is awake. I tend to agree. Perhaps a time to pray over and anoint one's dwelling, oneself, and family, and all of the household, with oil.

It is one of the watches of the night - a time for intercession. Jesus died at 3 p.m., and the trinity is "3" and "3" is certainly a significant number all through the Bible - 3 nights in the tomb for Jesus, 3 nights in the belly of the fish for Jonah, 3.5 years of the first half and second half of tribulation (total 7), 3 times Peter received a vision, 3 times he denied Christ, 3 times he reaffirmed his love for Christ, and the list goes on, so when you see the number 3 consistently, take notice that God is speaking.

Also, the USA will be 233 years old in a few days, which could be significant.
