I ordered groceries for delivery tomorrow morning. It's supposed to snow 1-3 inches after noon. I'm grateful it isn't much, but if it blows on the porch it can turn to ice.

It's nice to be able to order for delivery when necessary isn't it? We sometimes order and pick up, but it's been a while.

Currently 32 here. Supposed to be 19 tomorrow morning. My husband and I have dentist appointments at 8:50 AM. Brrrr.

I guess the groundhog was right this year. ^_^

It was 16 this morning. At least the sun is out. I don't think we've seen it all week.

Current forecast shows lows next Tuesday and Wednesday morning of 5 and 11 with a chance of snow. Hopefully they're wrong!

It’s going to be a warm spring and summer. We’re getting our A/C serviced for then. Right now rainy and not keeping me home from church unless it doesn’t let up.

It was 83 here today.

Tomorrow (Friday) 75 with a Red Flag Warning and a High Wind warning. Also blowing dust. Then back to normal on Saturday.
Do you normally get much blowing dust?

I remember back in the early 1980's, when we first moved to Oklahoma ... one afternoon we had a dust storm!

That was quite an experience ... I'd never seen such a thing, except for in the old westerns!

We get it from time to time. It usually happens when we have gusty west winds. There's more open plains in that direction and if there's a lack of rain the dust tends to get picked up and comes this way. Normally it's not bad when it happens, but this past week or so has been really unusual.

We usually complain that the panhandle is blowing over us.

Were there tumbling tumbleweeds? ^_^ It's amazing what one finds stuck in fence corners and bushes and secluded areas when there's wind. We went out to clean up the other day and found store receipts, packing paper, plastic bags, even half of someone's artificial palm tree...

We had a few calmer days (ha ha, gusts of 35-40 ) but a front came through this morning and we've been having gusts in the 50s again. No dust so far. I'll be glad when this wind goes away. I guess it's March coming in like a lion. We were at 87 yesterday, won't get out of the 50s today.

Oh yes ... there were tumbling tumbleweeds, too!!

I absolutely loved the weather in Oklahoma. The Spring storm season was my favorite time of year there. Those storms rolled in and out so majestically. Made me think of the awesome power of God! I loved to watch them ...

I was very surprised, and concerned, to hear this week about the wildfires in Oklahoma.
In all the years I was there, there was never such a thing.
Very scary. o_O

If you've got dust, it's sounding pretty dry in Texas.
Have you all been under the threat of wildfires this season, too?

Winter won't leave us alone. She sneaks back in! One night the low will be in the 20's. Other times it will be above freezing. In early April we might have a rain/snow mix. But I think the snow shovel needs to go back in the garage. A couple of pesty flies came in when I brought my groceries in. They've been pestering me for about 3 days!

We hit 91 yesterday. We've been in the 70s and 80s for highs and according to the weather forecast will be that for the next ten days, with maybe a 90 on Saturday. Our nighttime lows have been anywhere from upper 30s to low 60s. We could use some rain though. It's very dry.

Slept with the window open the last several nights.
