We had glorious sunshine today for our journey to Christies hospital. Beautiful blue sky and even warm . First thing this morning there was frost on the car, then it warmed up to around 7c.

When I heard this song back in the 50's as a kid; in the northern woods of Minnesota; where it never flooded; I thought this was funny;
but after living around creeks and rivers that flood every winter; for the last 40 years---it ain't no joke!

It snowed teeny-tiny balls that hit against the windshield while taking the pet cat to the vet.. everywhere there was day old snow cover but the roads were clear.

The weatherman said the high would be 47F today in Central Oklahoma. The temperature is already high enough to melt most of the snow and ice on our roads. My wife and I don't drive on snow and ice unless we have to.

Thanks..I will be looking forward to that. Just now huge gusts of heavy rain and wind..hope our power stays on.

So far the temps this winter have been above freezing, but we're due to have some strong winds this weekend. On the whole I'd prefer to have the cold, still days.

Today the air was crisp with a slight chill.. but not noticeable if bundled warm enough.
There was an outdoor carpet of white tiny sparkles.
Then three blocks away, the highway was all ugly slushy brown.

Winter was back today with light snow, temp. to about 35; possible dusting or three-qtrs. inch of snow in the morning. The past week had spring-like temps.

We have had a couple of sunny days with blue skies. I believe we are due for some stormy weather tonight.

It's 53F and Sunny here today in Central Oklahoma. The wind is only 3 mph, so it's really a gorgeous day.

are you up in Washington? Just watched a news from King5.com how all the rivers around Puget Sound are flooding; and they're still getting more rain; prayers for those people affected.

The weatherman says that our high today will be 59F, cloudy, and possible rain. The wind is only 11 mph, so it's another nice day in Central Oklahoma in my opinion.

We have a storm over the whole of the UK. It isn't too bad where we live as we are sheltered by the Pennines. I would think that there will be flooding in low lying places.
It hasn't been cold, in fact quite mild. Hailstones this afternoon, and one flash of lightening. Quite interesting, unfortunately some places have lost power.

Nestling under the Pennines too, and agree that it isn't particularly cold. It is wet here, but nothing serious, however I saw on TV that some places - Yorkshire particularly - have had floods.

It's 42F and cloudy here in Central Oklahoma. Rain and cooler temperatures are supposed to arrive tonight.

So cold and windy today, rain and hail, and we went to Christies for a scan. It was warm inside, and we got home safely, snug and cosy now.
Treatment starts on the 25th. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the chemo is only 10% and they will stop the chemo if it is troublesome.
