What an interesting question! I'll try not to sound "too religious," but I would have to say that I prefer to ignore a lot of things in my life, for which I'm somewhat ashamed. Everything I've done, good and bad, has been stained by my own personal flaws.
But I will cherish the memory of history, seeing how God's plan worked out in my life (assuming this, of course) and for the whole world. I've studied history, to some degree. And seeing it all completed, with a fuller understanding, will make me cherish this understanding as much as anything else.

I don't know. The memories I cherish now have changed over the years and likely will change again. If I don't know what memories I'll cherish later in this life, I can't know what memories I'll cherish after this life is over.

When I die, I will not have the hope of heaven, but I will in fact have the reality of heaven. Standing as part of that great sea lifting my voice in praise to Almighty God.
I don't think any memory would come close to the moment of my Salvation, the day Jesus became my Lord! That is the greatest day of my life. Memories of my wedding and the years I walked with my wife would come next - then my children and grands. Perhaps meeting the Brothers and Sisters in Christ from 19 nations God has been kind enough to allow me to impact as of yet, through His Gospel would be a capstone.

Interesting question. I'm not sure our memories will be the same. Let's assume we will know so much more about our experience in this world than we do now? In that case, I might cherish past experiences in a way that I currently don't. Perhaps experiences that were painful and are not cherished will become my most cherished memories once they are seen in that new light.

Small, seemingly insignificant things, are the memories I cherish the most right now. My four year old saying,"look Dad" as he stomps a giant onion in the produce section. Why did that onion have to be lying there anyway? So long ago. I can still feel the embarrassment. Still makes me giggle. Just one small moment. I have many memories I think on that I bet I will cherish.

There are two ways of looking at this. The ones that I'll cherish most if I enter heaven will be those actions, words or thoughts which aligned with the philosophy of heaven - acts of charity I may havce done, kind or encouraging words I may have uttered, some of my better thoughts (as opposed to carnal thoughts for example).
As for literal memories of this world, they come in snatches - seeing a leopard ray over the other side of a reef when I was diving, going for a walk along the beach, walking the dog, watching blue wrens hopping around a flowering shrub, hilarity with some church members, a holiday spent at a place called Point Lookout when I was much younger,.
Most of them will be the small things in life.
