What is the Last Day?

Genesis 1:

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
The first day was the beginning of light and physical time.

The book of Daniel ended with 12:

13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”
The last day will be the end of physical space-time as we know it. The Bible mentioned a future last day (singular) with only one meaning.

John 11:

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day
John 12:

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
The last day is the day of resurrection and the end of physical time.

John 5:

28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
Jesus was serious about the last day, John 6:

39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
The last day is the end of physical time and the beginning of a new experience of eternal time.

That is impossible. You do not have a day if you do not have time.
Well, then, how about, "The last day is at the end of physical time."?

Or, "The last day ends physical time."?

That is impossible. It is amazing the extent people go to try to claim a day can not be an age or a era. Of course in order to do that they have to ignore abundant and overwhelming evidence for how old or the age of Creation: Heaven & Earth.

The last day means the end of an age or era. In this case the church age or the age of grace is ending and the Kingdom age or the 1,000 year reign of Christ is beginning. There are six dispensations represented by 6 days.

The last days has to do with an age or an era. For example: Acts2 "17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams"

This has to do with the church age or the age we are in now. It is interesting no one has any problem with day in the future being a 2,000 year era. But that can not accept a day in Genesis one is 1,000 years. Acts 2 talks about the age we are in now called the church age or the age of grace. There are actually many names for this age.

It is common for the Bible to be translated end of time or end of the world. When actually all that is ending is an age or era. Just as the current age is going to end soon and we will enter into the 1,000 year reign of Christ. 3,000 years from Adam to David. 4,000 years from Adam to Christ. I think Adam sinned when he was 33 years old the same as Christ was 33 years old. Because God said on that day you shall die. Only God gave his Son to die in the place of Adam so that all of mankind can be redeemed.
