Because the Jewish religious leaders didn't accept Yeshua as their Messiah there was no reason to call him Immanuel (God with us). Instead they acused him of having demon ...

However, the time is coming when His name will no longer be thought of by some as a *parable as they will call Him Immanuel.(God with us).

Proof is on you. Mine is easy...no one who actually knows Hebrew will agree with you...and in Aramaic it is more like "Isho"... ܝܫܘܥ

In the year 1525 Sir William Tyndale a Protestant Reformer invented the name Jesus.
You are speaking of modern Hebrew and modern Aramaic. I am speaking of ancient Hebrew and ancient Aramaic. The name Jesus did not exist in Christ day. Yahshua was a Hebrew, not a Greek.

LOL I never said it did. Jesus is from the Greek and Latin Iesous. YeHoshua and Yeshua ARE Hebrew. Yahshua is NOT Hebrew...that is a FACT. Because you do not know that shows me you have no idea what you are talking about. YaH is NOT a theophoric prefix in Hebrew. Show me ONE name in Hebrew that begins with YaH...you can't because there are none.

Because Hebrews dropped their 'ayins', to keep from saying God's name, hence we have "y'shua." Also spelled Yeshua, for which we have in Greek, "Iēsous" and "Isus." These are corruptions of the names that begin with "Yah."
And then there is the question of the spelling of God's name.
