What does it mean to be eating partially-cooked chicken in a dream?

Just a quick question here...I only remember one detail from last night's dream...someone had cooked a chicken breast for me to eat. It had been boiled or cooked in a way that I would not have thought that chicken would normally be cooked. At one point, I realized that the chicken breast was in a heart shape...like the chef had used a cookie cutter. At another point, the chicken breast looked like a circle, and at another point it looked like the shape you would normally expect it to be. When I cut into it and took a bite, it tasted like and had the consistency like it was not fully cooked. I mentioned this to another person in my dream who was also eating the chicken and she told me that it was in fact cooked all the way through. I kept looking at my chicken and seeing places where it didn't look fully cooked and I showed that to her. She said I was wrong. Then, I thought that maybe it just tasted like it wasn't fully cooked because it had been cooked in a different manner.

That is all I remember. Could there be anything to this dream?

Eating Uncooked food in the old testament was a sin. so the fact it was not throughly cooked would mean the chicken was symbolic of sin. and as you know sin comes in many shapes, and many people justify donig these sins, just as the woman was saying in your dream that it was how they cooked it or like it was just your opinion when in fact you knew it was uncooked she was encouraging you to eat it just as those sinning incourage us to sin so their consience is not awakened.
It would seem the message is clear if You know its sin dont partake in it no matter what the opionion of others may be.

Very, very interesting...I just wish I knew what specific sin God is talking about here...I don't feel like anyone is trying to get me to sin and I don't feel like I have any hidden sin. I do have issues with my temper and how I lash out in anger, pride, and hurt at my husband (who can be critical at times, but means well), but I am pretty open about that. I will be praying for God to show me if I have some sin that I am not aware of.

Also, do you think there's any significance to the fact that the chicken appeared heart-shaped at one point in my dream?

Just because God is teaching you about certian things doesnt mean you are doing them He teaches us about certian things to prevent us from doing them. He incresses our wisdom through his teachings.
The heart shape would be an example of sins that look good and godly but are still just raw chicken--sin. Example if a rich man who has became rich by selling drugs then uses some of the drug money to feed starving children and is still selling drugs, the chicken would be heart shaped but in reality its just raw chicken in a heart shape, sin is just sin no matter what.
Pam God teaches us so as to increse our knowledge and wisdom in His Ways, Not because of what we are doing but so as to help others by using what God has taught us, Remember its not about us its about us serving God by helping others. He is increasing yoiur wisdom so you can serve better and help others. By giving you this message this dream He has given you yet one more tool to use to help others. you can use His chicken example as a parable type teaching to help other who may be sinning and thinking that sin they are involved in is ok. it may be a week from now or maybe 3 years from now but at some time God is going to put someone into contact with you that will need understanding in this area and now you will be prepared to serve.

I believe this is a dream about the antiChrist. The bible teaches that the birds of the air will eat the flesh of the antiChrist and this is what you imagine doing. However, the time is not yet for this to happen and so the meat appears uncooked to you.

I have been thinking along similar lines recently, given the number of dreams about the antiChrist and my own insights.

Yes. Appearances can be deceiving and there is more than one way to look at something. Just because someone tells you something is a certain way does not mean it is that way at all. Be discerning. Make your own judgments and don't just accept what others say as the truth, because you can see that it isn't. Remember Satan is the big deceiver, so be watching because a BIG deception is on the way, I believe. Try to see things as they really are, not through the eyes of other people. Let the Holy Spirit direct you to the truth, because it is there. Don't be influenced into believing someone else's truth as your truth. Watch and pray!

Yes, I agree. I have had many, many antichrist dreams, especially lately. Perhaps the answer here is not to look for the obvious. Let the Holy Spirit let you see through his eyes instead of other people's eyes.

I was reading in Hosea this morning and I believe this passage of scripture speaks to your dream. Notice the wording in the commentary.

Hosea 7
1 whenever I would heal Israel,
the sins of Ephraim are exposed
and the crimes of Samaria revealed.

bandits rob in the streets;
2 but they do not realize
that I remember all their evil deeds.

Commentary: fire: A metaphor for political intrigue. Festival of our king: Probably a coronation or a birthday. The intrigue was kept secret until a suitable time. Devour rulers: Assassinations of kings. None of them calls on me: The reason for the shameful situation. Flat cake: A metaphor describing unwise policies. Baked on hot stones: the cake was burned on the bottom and raw on top. My net. The Lord himself was the hunter – not the nations – and Israel was certain to be caught. I trained them. As children (or, perhaps, as troops). The arrow missed the mark: Israel missed her purpose for being.

I believe this prophecy is being applied against the USA and our government.
