I wasn't denying that Christianity has been in the historical mix of ideological and political direction in "The West." Obviously, it has.

What I'm implying, however, is that Enlightened Modernism has simply turned in upon itself and become complicated over time, resulting in smaller, individualistic adoptions of the larger paradigm. The resulting humanistic definitions are ethically questionable. And that state of questionableness is present before we decide to also open a Bible and see what it has to say about it all.
Post-modernism is characterised by subjective bubbles of consciousness weighted equally by a morally relativistic culture. But Christians do not have to be bound by that. Accepting biblical authority, the Nicene Creed, a mainstream global historical view of church teaching, hard scientific fact and solid historical research are all ways to break those bubbles.

Those conflicts were not instigated by the USA, but it has been an effective peacemaker and defender of smaller nations sovereignty. It is the USA and it's allies that have kept the peace the last 8 decades
Sorry, but G Bush started what we see in the Middle East today and Obama in Lybia. We know very little about CIA involvement in other governments and it's arrogant to think other countries should bow down to our way of life. We don't respect other cultures and live peaceably with one another. The Ukraine war is another problem with USA involvement if we would have forced them to be a neutral country like Finland it would have been possible that this war would not have started, especially if the USA had told Russia that an invasion would lead to direct military conflict with the USA.

Actually, Post-modernism is not a singular, monolithic viewpoint offering a singular definition about reality, even as it relates to how we each appraise the plethora of relative political perspectives scattered around the World. So, unfortunately, your bringing post-modernism up here in conversation with me, in relation to the point I was making, is a kind of red-herring.

Moreover, whether I qualify as a post-modernist and that you or anyone else here has the correct (or final) evaluation of my perspective on politics remains open for qualified discussion.

Deeper than hegemony is the Christian faith that enabled and continues to animate Western civilisation.

Read Tom Holland's Dominion
Christianity is in decline in America but I have to ask, Is how faith mandatory for everyone else?
