Yet it seems like pulling teeth to get a Trump supporter just to say a phrase like "That's a racist statement and it is not good" when you provide examples of it happening in America.

I don't get it either. But if you get to the point when people can say, hand on heart and in all sincerity that they think Trump is the ideal person to represent the US to the world, then we're in a universe that I can't align with reality. I have no hope of understanding it.

As someone who has worked with diagnosed narcissists, I completely understand why some folks would think that Trump is the ideal person. That doesn't mean he IS, just that the power of persuasion that narcissists who have NO trouble lying, is huge. A coworker of mine directly working with the NPD, ended up "falling in love with him" and "Behaving inappropriately".
She lost her job. That same kid convinced someone to shoot someone when they were breaking into their home.
I absolutely accept that people will fall for it.

We who are critical of trump need to be careful. Dude lies ALL the time so you don't actually know how good or bad it's going to be. HE is not a man of principle (unless it's referring to principal and it means himself), so yes, it could be absolutely awful. But chances are it won't be as bad as I'd worried.

Could be. But then I remember I am a middle class white guy. Comparatively, I have nothing to worry about.
