Unintentional Lucid Dreaming Results in Spiritual Attack
So far, from my last two experiences where I realized I was dreaming and decided to move freely in my dream (i.e., unintentional lucid dreaming), it has resulted in me (spiritually) waking up to a demonic attack. During said attack, I can feel the enemy pulling at my feet/ankles (Genesis 3:15) and my spirit spinning and doing flips in my bedroom; basically, the enemy likes to create a feeling of discomfort and confusion. Mind you, it's my spirit that feels all this movement, which is very real, while my physical body doesn't move and remains on the bed. While this is going on, I pray, sing worship songs, ask the Lord to send His angels, and rebuke the evil spirits.
However, there are times I have taken control of my dream without attempting to and had not resulted in me being attacked but just having fun jumping over city buildings.
Why Does the Lord Allow Me to Suffer (In My Sleep)
There are three reasons I feel the Lord has allowed me to experience said spiritual attacks in my sleep. One, sadly, is perhaps the most common reason I experience spiritual attacks in my sleep, which is when I'm struggling with sin. And more specifically, when I commit adultery (pray for me guys). Oh the Lord is good, gracious, and quick to remind me of my short comings. I can almost predict a night in which my sleep won't be sweet and I'll wake up with an evil spirit attacking me. Like I said, God is quick to remind me. Secondly, when I'm growing exponentially in the Lord, the enemy attacks me in an attempt to intimidate me. Praise God when I know I can call on the Name of the Lord, rebuking the enemy is like sweeping dust with a broom. Man does the enemy hate hearing the Name of the Lord being called upon by a strong believer. And lastly, which may encompass the second reason, is a ministry the Lord has revealed to me that I will do in the future. And that is the deliverance ministry.
Can't God use someone in the deliverance ministry yet not have firsthand exposure to the spiritual realm? Sure. God can do anything and use anybody he pleases. But I feel, when these attacks are not brought about by my own sin, the Lord is preparing me for something. I believe someone could be better ministered to by a Christian who has experienced similar things. Additionally, this has caused me to draw closer to God and has allowed my faith to expand at greater levels.
Sorry if I rambled off too much, but I'd like to hear some insight and edification from you guys. And if you can, please pray for me, "Monte from San Pablo, CA" for continual victory in this area of my life.

The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
