I wouldn't necessarily call this numerology either.

But you should know that the languages Hebrew and Greek do not have separate symbols for their numbers, but instead use the letters of the alphabet. It is a striking fact that the two languages in which the Holy Scriptures were originally written have this historically unique property. That is, all manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments can be easily converted into pure numbers.

The Bible refers to Gematria in the Book of Revelation with the famous quote known to some as the number of the beast.

Thank you for your good reply as to why you use numerology to prove God is a Trinity. I agree God uses various numbers, including the number of the beast. But is it fair to extrapolate God's concise use of numbers to make broad generalization about hidden meanings in the numbers of the Hebrew Alphabet? That is what I mean by your use of numerology. I don't see the Scriptures teaching about finding hidden meanings within the numbers of the Hebrew or the Greek alphabet, do you? I am just trying to stay completely Biblical in my responses as the Scriptures teach us, and I am hoping you desire to do the same.

I believe there is a misunderstanding here.

Whatever is revealed must not conflict with the Word of G-d (the text). But it may enhance the meaning of a particular scripture by linking it to other relevant texts.

The purpose of calculating numerical values is not to find mystical hidden meanings. Biblical gematria is like a checksum when doing calculations.

The simple meaning of the biblical text is often supported by numbers that, when interpreted in a biblical way, evoke the same message in numerical form.

In this way, the numerical values act as a checksum that may not have been known to the writers but that reflects the overall inspiration of a greater mind.

The implicit underpinning of texts emphasizes the Christian belief that the Bible is indeed the inspired Word of G-d. What the practice of theistic mathematics teaches us is that G-d is a Spirit who leaves His signature in numbers.

Thank you for your explanation. As I look at your interpretation of the numerical value of the Hebrew Alphabet, I consider that a person of any persuasion could choose a numerical pattern that best suits his/her position to "prove" his/her doctrine. For example, you use a particular numerical pattern to support a particular doctrine, but that does not mean someone else couldn't use other numerical patterns to support an opposite conclusion.

What may be relevant to you is not what others may consider relevant. So, what is the point of using numerology, since using its patterns is left up to the opinions of the one using the numerology to support his/her positions, which is not really support or evidence at all?

Besides that, we do not find numerology from the Hebrew or Greek alphabets used in Scripture as evidence for anything, nor do the Scriptures teach that the numerical values of Hebrew or Greek letters are in any way useful to arrive at, or prove, any doctrine of the Bible.

You say that "checksum" may not have been known to the writers. In response: Don't you feel that the Holy Spirit would have inspired the Apostolic Writers to teach us about finding numerical evidence in the Hebrew or Greek Alphabet if it was in any way beneficial or important in supporting doctrine?

Considering these three facts, I am left with the realization that the only sure way to understand what the Scriptures are teaching is to read "in context" without adding my own assumptions to the Text. In this way, I get a clear or plain understanding of what the writer intended to convey to the reader, including the evidence the writer provides by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Blessings

This numerical system of the Hebrew/Greek alphabet, commonly referred to as gematria, is an ancient practice of both Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek. In other words, it is not a modern invention, but an inherent feature of the ancient Hebrew/Greek alphabets. This was common practice in antiquity, did not have to be taught.

The Scriptures are inscribed with references to gematria and names and numbers. On the other hand, anyone who approaches biblical gematria with the wrong motivation will get little to no benefit from it; rather, he will wear himself out over it.

Considering these three facts, I am left with the realization that the only sure way to understand what the Scriptures are teaching is to read "in context" without adding my own assumptions to the Text. The entire Torah can be interpreted not in just one way, but on four different levels, which are described by the acronym PaRDeS (פרדס).

The Hebrew language is full of secrets and valuable ideas hidden within it, which we do not see and understand the first time we read the Bible, but sometimes only after the hundredth time.

The Hebrew and Greek texts are designed in such a way that their numerical value enhances the understanding of the text and also creates connections to similar texts.

What is your reaction to the message that the biblical text authenticates itself?

Are you willing to bet your life that the numerical phenomena involved are coincidences or otherwise result from the activities of a secular conspiracy?

Who but a transcendent and divine being could have devised and implemented such a scheme many centuries before the invention of the numerical codes that reveal it to us?

Triangular numbers are a specific family of numbers that form perfect triangles, the geometric figure depicting the Trinity. Every third triangle has a center (centroid) counter.

The gematria of Genesis 1:1 is 2701 = 37*73. 37 and 73 are triangular numbers. What are their centers of gravity?

Calculated from the triangle apex, the centre of gravity in the triangle 37 is 313 dots,

calculated from the triangle vertex, the center of gravity in the triangle 73 is 1201 dots

The isopsephy of Iésous, 888, connects the two centers of gravity cg1201-cg313 = 888

888 is the precise distance between the two centers of gravity

The 3 middle word values of John 1:1 all end with the number 8

This numerical system of the Hebrew/Greek alphabet, commonly referred to as gematria, is an ancient practice of both Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek. In other words, it is not a modern invention, but an inherent feature of the ancient Hebrew/Greek alphabets. This was common practice in antiquity, did not have to be taught.

The Scriptures are inscribed with references to gematria and names and numbers. On the other hand, anyone who approaches biblical gematria with the wrong motivation will get little to no benefit from it; rather, he will wear himself out over it.

I can see that your intentions are good. You desire to show that the Trinity doctrine is true by the use of Gematria. So, I can't fault you for that.

The use of Gematria is not unique to Hebrew or Greek or even to the Bible. Gematria is used by some Islamic scholars, who convincingly show that the Qur'an is truly Allah's pure words, and Islam is the true religion. And they do this quite convincingly.

Other ancient philosophers, religions, cultures, and languages, since the BC era, have used Gematria in an attempt to prove what they hold to, and many do so convincingly. Gematria is used for the English as well for the King James version of the Scriptures in a very convincing way, and also for the Latin Alphabet.

I have learned that Gematria can be used to find convincing patterns in various novels as well.

The conclusion from all this evidence shows me that patterns could be found in any language for any religion or culture or philosophy, or even any novel, if one desires to find such patterns. And that is what we find happening since ancient times. Such patterns can and will be found by others to prove just about anything one believes.

Regarding the Scriptures, Paul wrote the following:

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

That is what I believe and trust as the Word of God. And so, those are the Scriptures I research to understand the Trinity and share that with others.

While numbers are used in the Bible to give a specific meaning, we do not find Gematria of the Hebrew or Greek alphabets used in Scripture as evidence for anything, nor do the Scriptures teach that the numerical values of Hebrew or Greek letters are in any way useful to arrive at, or prove, or interpret, any doctrine of the Bible.

All of the Gospel Revelation is written down for the Church by the command of the Eternal God for the obedience that comes from faith.

Romans 16:25-27 (NIV) 25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the {{{prophetic writings}}} by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith — 27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

God never mentioned anything about finding patterns in any language of the alphabet to be used as a "checksum" for any teaching of the Scriptures; so, I will stick with what the Scriptures actually state.

I will definitely consider extra-Biblical evidence as well, such as: secular, historical, astrological, and archaeological sources. Such sources can accurately help confirm what is written in the Scriptures. I do not consider "gematria" to be reliable evidence that in any way compares to the previously listed sources of evidence.

"Gematria" - finding numerical patterns in words, phrases, and letters to confirm or interpret Scripture - is not a reliable method by any means for the reasons I gave.

I am unlikely to convince you, and you will not convince me; so, I will leave you to your Gematria, and I will continue to be a student of the Gospel Word just as it is written. In the end, we will all give an account to God.

Blessings and Love in Christ Jesus the Lord.

Christians may be surprised to find out that their NT begins and ends with cryptic references to gematria. The first is found in the genealogy of Christ, Matthew Chapter One. The second is in the book of Revelation in that most infamous of numbers, 666.

Our universe is built in a G-dly harmonious order based on mathematical relationships. For those who are believers, math must be G-d's truth, His thought that His rational creatures can share!

Scripture claims that our Creator is its author. If this is indeed the case, then surely it would be unwise to exclude the possibility that numbers, indelibly linked as they are to the opening words, and their calculation, are an additional and valid tool of biblical exegesis.

The original creation verse reads

In the beginning G-d created the heaven and the earth Gen 1:1
בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

6 times it contains the letter

1. א Alef 1

בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

The gematria of Alef is one and stands for the unity of G-d, as it is said every day in prayer:

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deu 6:4

Alef contains depths of divine implications.

The 6 Alef in the verse appear in the 3rd, 9th, 10th, 15th, 23rd and 26th positions

The sum of the 6 numbers is

3+9+10+15+23+26 = 86.

86 is the numerical value of the word elohim

elohim
אֱלהִים
1. א Alef 1
12. ל Lamed 30
5. ה He 5
10. י Yud 10
13. מ Mem 40
Σ 86

The position of each Alef in relation to the previous one is

3-0 = 3
9-3 = 6
10-9 = 1
15-10 = 5
23-15 = 8
26-23 = 3

The numbers add up to

3+6+1+5+8+3 = 26.

26 in turn is the numerical value of the name YHVH

YHVH
יְהוָֹה
10. י Yud 10
5. ה He 5
6. ו Vav 6
5. ה He 5
Σ 26

The positions of the 6 Alefs refer to YHVH elohim, the LORD G-d.

Alef is made up of the letters Yud-Vav-Yud, which results in 26, the numerical value of the tetragrammton YHVH

10. י Yud 10
6. ו Vav 6
10. י Yud 10
Σ 26

Alef therefore stands for G-d himself.

Hebrew is a G-dly language and the letters themselves express a relationship with the Creator. The picture story of the Hebrew letters in a word plus the meaning of the spiritual numbers in a word are like the crosshairs of an area:

They show the sense of the deeper meaning that G-d conveys. This is a legacy of the spiritual fathers of the Bible. Every prophet in the Bible spoke Hebrew. All the apostles were Hebrews. They were inspired to record the word of G-d in exactly the same way. Therefore, biblical gematria is part of the scriptures. A study of the Hebrew language, its letters and numbers, will substantiate this.

The apostles used kurios when referring to YHVH. They also used kurios in a radically new way, declaring that Lord Jesus is also kurios. The central teaching of the Bible is built on this fundamental truth:

Jesus is kurios!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that G-d hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Ro 10:9

Likewise, the apostles introduced the name Jesus Christ in Greek, the only name that saves. For this they had the authority of G-d. It is said that His people will know His name, and that is the name Jesus Christ

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. Isa 52:6

Be sure that Jesus is the Lord and that G-d has so sealed it.

Indeed, Jesus is Lord!

As we know, G-d did not have the original authors of the NT insert the tetragrammaton to distinguish between Jesus and the Father (OT scholars use the artificial name Yahweh for this, but no Jew ever uses it). They used quotations from the Hebrew Scriptures and did not copy the tetragrammaton, but used kurios instead of the G-dly name. Which shows that they perceived Jesus as G-d. The kurios, that is Jesus or:

Jesus is YHVH. He is the kurios of the Burning Bush.

This faith gives us access to the fullness of the triune G-d.

I don't disagree with your Scriptural understanding of the Trinity, nor do I have an issue with your understanding of the Tetragrammaton. I just have an issue with using Gematria as evidence for the Trinity because of how easily numerical patterns in words, phrases, and letters can be manipulated to form many different conclusions.

As for "Hebrew" being a Godly language. I do not find that idea in Scripture. Can you show me the Scriptures that teach about Hebrew being a "godly" language? What do you mean by "godly?" Do you mean that "Hebrew" is a uniquely righteous and holy language?

God could have phased out the Hebrew language of Israel, that started after the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 AD and ended around 200 AD with the extinction of Hebrew as a national language.

In my opinion, the revived "Hebrew" language of Israel today is all part of God's divine plan for Israel, to help make Israel separate from other peoples of the earth, thus clearly identifying them as that same Israel God brought forth from Abraham. I believe this because God definitely still has a special plan and purpose for Israel and the Jewish people that will be fully realized with the Millennial Reign of Christ on earth.

I understand various arguments given as to why some feel that "Hebrew" is a godly language. If "Hebrew" is a godly language, why would God use a written language that had no vowels? I think, rather, that God used the "Hebrew" language mainly because it was widely spoken by many peoples in that area (Canaanite lands or Middle East), and because it had the best written language of that ancient period of time by which God's revelations could be written down.

God would seem to have orchestrated the Hebrew Language within that very early time period, by which God could then communicate Himself to us, and with us, and make His revelation to Israel, and to mankind, verbally known and recorded in writing.

In the 1st century and beyond, God used the Greek language of that day to get His Gospel Word to the known world because it was the most widely used, even by most Jews, since the Diaspora. In addition, the Greek language had the best vocabulary and written language of the time period - including vowels.

Beyond the Greek language, however, God is using many different languages to proclaim His Gospel to the world with great results even to this day.

The idea that "Hebrew" was the language spoken by God to Adam, and that, thousands of years later, is the exact same language of Abraham is presumptuous. However, I can see some evidence to support such a conclusion.

The Hebrew language was Abraham's native language from what is today, Southern Iraq. The Hebrew language was one of many local or regional dialects (social variety) of the Canaanite language, which is a Semitic language, but not necessarily of Shem's descendants, because Canaanites (descendants of one of Noah's son's Ham), and also Ham’s two grandson's, the sons of Mizraim named, Pathrusim and Casluhim (1 Chronicles 1:12) also settled in the land and used the Semitic language, which would be their native tongue.

Therefore, the Semitic language was predominantly used by many different peoples in ancient times, mostly descendants Noah’s sons, Shem and Ham, who lived in an area encompassing what is today, Israel, Jordan, the Sinai Peninsula, Lebanon, Syria, as well as some areas of southwestern Turkey (Anatolia), western and southern Iraq (Mesopotamia) and the northwestern corner of Saudi Arabia - most of which could be called the Land of Canaan.

The "Land of Canaan" is so called, because one of Ham's four sons, Canaan (the fourth son), and his descendants, fully occupied those areas of the Middle East (Genesis 10:15-21; 1 Chronicles 1:8, 13-16). However, the Philistines are descended from Ham’s two grandson's, the sons of Mizraim named, Pathrusim and Casluhim (1 Chronicles 1:12). Make note of the fact that Ham had four sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan (1 Chronicles 1:8).

If the mountains of Southern Iraq are really the resting place of Noah's Ark after the flood, then an argument could be made that a rudimentary or foundational form of Hebrew was spoken by Adam, and developed over time with an ever-expanding vocabulary. That "Hebrew" language would also have been spoken by Noah and his three sons, Japheth, Shem, and Ham (Genesis 10:1), whose Ark likely settled in the mountains of Southern Iraq after the flood.

Therefore, it could be presumed that Abraham (a descendant of Shem), who was born in Southern Iraq (the likely resting place of Noah's Ark) spoke a language closest to that which Adam spoke, which is a Hebrew dialect of Shem’s descendants, and also of Canaan's descendants, and the Philistines, because they remained in that location.

Did God teach, give, or create in Adam the "Hebrew" language? That is a possibility - but obviously only a rudimentary foundational form of that language, since the vocabulary was not yet developed in any appreciable way.

The Semitic people are descendants of Shem, who is Noah's first son of his three sons; Shem, Ham, and Japheth: Genesis 10:1). From Shem's descendants came forth Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the nation Israel. Shem's descendants, and also the Canaanites (descendants of Ham from his son, Canaan: 1 Chronicles 1:8), and Ham's grandson's Pathrusim and Casluhim (1 Chronicles 1:8-11) did not migrate to other regions of the earth, but instead, predominantly remained in the surrounding area of Noah's Ark after the Tower of Babel incident; therefore, the Semitic people, and the Canaanites, and the descendants of Pathrusim and Casluhim (the Philistines), could have all carried forth dialects of Adam's language. It would make sense.

Therefore, those Semites, such as Abraham, who historically lived closest to the location of the Ark, likely spoke, and passed onto their descendants, a purer form of Hebrew than Canaan's descendants who settled in what came to be known as the Land of Canaan, and those Semites who also migrated there very early on.

The Japhethites (descendants of Japheth) migrated to generally what are today known as European and Asian lands, with some Japhethites likely remaining in, or immigrating back to, the Middle East, and settling in the land of Canaan.

The Hamites (descendants of Ham) migrated to the African continent and parts of Asia. As I noted earlier, some Hamites remained in the Middle East, which were born from one of Ham's sons named Canaan: Canaanites (Genesis 10:15-21), and also Ham's grandson's Pathrusim and Casluhim (1 Chronicles 1:8-11). The Canaanites (specifically descendants of the man named, "Canaan," a son of Ham: Genesis 10:6,15-19; 1 Chronicles 1:8-10), remained in the Middle East, the Land of Canaan; in which case, many of them became servants, and even concubines, of the Semites (descendants of Shem) and also servants of the Japhethites (descendants of Japheth) Genesis 9:25-27. Abraham had Hamite servants, probably from Canaan's descendants.

Therefore, the Japhethites and Hamites who remained in the Middle East after the Tower of Babel incident, and those who immigrated there later on, would also have learned or natively spoke various dialects of the Hebrew language, which came to be known as the general language of Canaan for that reason.

In conclusion, you need to define "godly" as it pertains to your saying that Hebrew is a godly language. Even so, I have provided evidence that could be used to think that "Hebrew" is from God, in that, Hebrew could be of the same language that Adam spoke, and of which God may have taught Adam, or created Adam to understand or know; however, Adam, at best, spoke only a rudimentary foundational form of "Hebrew," because the vocabulary was undeveloped.

Hebrew language is associated with the Alef Tav, Jesus' signature indicating ownership. The letters Alef and Tav are the two letters of the Alefbet that Jesus directly claimed in the Bible to represent him personally. If the first and last letters of an alphabet are about Jesus, then every letter in between must also testify that Jesus is LORD.

Each one of the Alefbet points to the messiah. He is the connection between heaven and earth, between spiritual and material.

Jesus said that He was the truth.

Truth in Hebrew contains the first, middle, and the last letter of the Alefbet, indicating that truth encompasses all things and endures from the beginning (Alef) to the end (Tav).

In Hebrew thought, truth is about doing. In Greek something is true, when a statement corresponds perfectly to a objective reality.

When we combine the Greek and Hebrew concepts of truth, we can understand Jesus to be the most trustworthy and true person, because there is no distinction between who He is and what He does.

He is truly G-d and man, and he acts perfectly divinely and humanly.

When G-d created the name Jesus Christ, He wanted to convey a message to us. He wanted us to understand the monumental significance of who Christ was on earth and how we are called to follow Him.

Through biblical numerics we are better able to understand how G-d wove mathematical truths into His divine creations.

In biblical numbers, 888 is connected to Jesus Christ

The number 888, a triple of eights, denotes the divine dimension, as there are three Persons in the Trinity. 888 is a highly symmetrical number. No matter how rotated, it still looks like 888 (mirror symmetry). This is consistent with G-d's use of this number when He explained His eternal, unchanging nature through the prophet Malachi. Indeed,

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Heb 13:8

888 is the only number in whose cube all three digits occur exactly three times. In this case it is 7, 2 and 0.

Jesus refers to the Alef,

refers to the unity of the triune G-d.

Alef is the first letter of many attributes and names of G-d and therefore embodies G-dliness. The three words that make up G-d's name also begin with Alef:

The bible is not so hidden or cryptic as that. "Jesus" means "Jehovah Saves", hence Joseph was told:

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."” (Mt 1:21 NKJV)

"Christ" is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew "Messiah".

As far as the power of Jesus is concerned, we are told:

“In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1Co 5:4 NKJV)

Nowhere do we find in the teaching of Jesus or His apostles the slightest idea that Christians should interpret God's Word by a system of numerology.

The basis of gematria is the ancient practice of using letters from alphabets to represent numbers. Hebrew has always been the language most closely associated with gematria, which was developed in biblical times and is still practiced today.

Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. Mk 4:3-7

The sower corresponds to G-d, the seed to the word of G-d, the field is man, by the way side means lack of understanding and among thorns means greed.

It is Jesus Christ who sows the good seed

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; Mt 13:37

Jesus Christ took on human nature without ceasing to be G-d. He is true G-d and true man.

The name Jesus Christ is written in two ways in Greek

The expression Lord Jesus Christ in Greek, on the other hand, results in, depending on the spelling,

The word branch is a name for the Messiah. It expresses the fact that with Him the long cut off and fallow kingship of David will have a new beginning.

If we filter out certain expressions, as they appear one after the other in the original text, in the description of this branch from the verse, we get the threefold use of the number 296

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord: Zec 6:12
ואמרת אליו לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות לאמר הנה
איש צמח שמו ומתחתיו יצמח ובנה את היכל יהוה

The gematria of the red highlighted saying is, how could it be otherwise, 2368!!!

Total = 2368
Original Text
Hebrew Value Inc
איש 311
צמח 138
שמו 346
ומתחתיו 870
יצמח 148
ובנה 63
את 401
היכל 65
יהוה 26

The gematria of Zechariah's prophecy identifies the man named branch!!!

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: Isa 11:1

Jesus Christ is the root branch of Jesse. He is therefore both the root, i.e. the origin, and the branch, i.e. the descendant of Jesse. This indicates the eternal and incomprehensible mystery of his "person". He is G-d and man in one 'person'.

Gematria is an everyday practice of the ancient world. It was so common that it was routinely found in street graffiti in ancient Mediterranean archaeological sites.

The Gospel of Matthew begins with an extensive genealogy of Jesus Christ and an obvious reference to gematria.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Mt 1:17

The author clearly emphasizes the number 14 three times here, but does not tell the reader why.

So why didn't Matthew tell his readers about the importance of the number 14?

The reason is that the intended audience already knew the significance.

To any educated Jew (and Jews were perhaps the most educated people on earth at that time), the number 14 would have been a clear reference to King David and thus a fulfillment of the prophecy that the Messiah would come from the house of David.

The name David in Hebrew has only three letters, so the sum is easy for a child to see

David
דָּוִד
4. ד Dalet 4
6. ו Vav 6
4. ד Dalet 4
Σ 14

The name and its numerical value are so simple that it was certainly one of the most familiar name numbers for every believing Jew. This little-known fact can be seen as a footnote to the text in most Bibles.

What is not known is the following:

In Erasmus' Greek 'Textus Receptus', the origin of the King James Bible, we find that the number of words in this genealogy is exactly 248, all generations from Abraham to David; cf. Mt 1:1-16.

We see how this passage refers to David, but the number of words in the passage is a further indication of the practice of gematria, whether intentional or divine.

Greek Textus Receptus of the NT

Matthew 1:1-16 therefore contains 248 words.

In the first book of Moses it says

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. Gen 17:5

Abraham was originally called Abram

Abram
אַבְרָם
1. א Alef 1
2. ב בּ Bet/Vet 2
20. ר Resch 200
13. מ Mem 40
Σ 243

whose numerical value is 243. But when Abraham was 99 years old, G-d commanded him to circumcise himself and added the letter

5. ה He 5

with the numerical value 5, so that the complete numerical value of its name is 248

Abraham
אַבְרָהָם
1. א Alef 1
2. ב בּ Bet/Vet 2
20. ר Resch 200
5. ה He 5
13. מ Mem 40
Σ 248

We see this understanding of the number 14 as the numerical value of David reflected in Revelation, where John writes about the key of David.

The statement here is

he that hath the key of David, Rev 3:7
ο εχων την κλειδα του

he that hath the key of David,

70
+1455+358+70+770 = 2744 = 14*14*14 = 14^3

The expression is another cryptic reference to 14 as the numerical value of the Hebrew name David, in which the number 14 is exponentiated.

Another example of gematria can be found in the Gospel of John. Here, too, we find that gematria explains the text more completely.

We must ask the obvious question, what about the gematria of Jesus Christ, a man whom John thought was G-d Himself in the flesh?

13 letters make up the holy name, the sum of which is 2368

This is a very specific number. It is a sum with a complex composition and one that is not easy to reduplicate. The Gospels list 7 last statements of Lord Jesus while He was hanging on the cross, one of the most curious being from the Gospel of John, where He exclaims and says

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! John 19:26

To an English reader of the Bible, this is a strange expression for the Son of G-d to say, and even stranger to say to the mother. But to the attentive reader of the Greek, the surviving language of the N.T., it makes perfect sense.

In the original Greek the expression is

Woman, behold thy son!
γυναι ιδου ο υιος σου

Woman, behold thy son!
γυναι ιδου ο υιος σου

464
+484+70+680+670 = 2368!

The Greek numerical value of Iesous Christos is 2368.

If we look at the Greek letters here as numbers, we find an amazing mathematical connection. We see that this cryptic wording is actually a coded reference to Lord Jesus Christ.

The OT is similarly provided with references to gematria. It is well attested by many Jewish authorities.

If Jesus is not G-d, then who is He?

In John it reads

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3

Therefore does He belong to G-d's orders or is He a creature?
Jesus is God the Son, and that scripture is 100% accurate and true, Jesus was there in the beginning before all other things that were made, and all of those other things that were made after that, or after him, were made by him and through him (by God the Father's power and ability/will working through him) and for him (Jesus, or God the Son) but whether Jesus himself was the first of all of these things or not (and will also always be the very, very last) (except for God the Father only) we might not ever be able to answer, etc.

But scripture does tell us that he will always be the very first, and will always be the very last, in any creation, or when any other creations are started, or are finished, or are made, and that all other things between then and there ever (the/this universe, the earth, heaven and/or angels and/or man) were all made/created by him and through him and for him, and that he is always first and last in any of this except for the God the Father ever, etc, so we can know this much is true, etc. So he's very much God, or is our God the King, and will also be the One that we can see/smell/hear/taste and touch ruling Heaven when we are there, but He is God the Son actually, etc.

Because the Father God might be slightly different from him maybe, and might not have a beginning or end ever maybe, etc. Or IOW's there might be maybe, and again, this is a "maybe" that we are discussing here, etc, anyway, there might be a very, very short period of time between creations maybe, where it is just only God the Father only for a very, very short period of time maybe, etc. But Jesus is always the very first, and the very last, of all other things always, and will always be the One in charge of/ruling all other things always, etc.

No one of us, or any other angel, or created thing, or whatever, will ever be able to experience a time where Jesus is not there both before or after us, or a time where Jesus is not alive/doesn't exist, and this goes for all other things ever (except the Father). No other thing will ever be able to experience a day or age or time, where Jesus will not always be before or after it, or does/will not exist always, etc.

Everything else's beginning or ending will always be, in the case of endings, always before his, and in the case of beginnings, always after his always, he always being the first and last of all other things always, etc.

God Bless.

On this note, I am closing this thread. It has gone off focus in some ways and the OP has not posted in 9 days.

Also, it is not allowed to post opinions against the Trinity doctrine so those posts will be removed.
