Truth Tellers - Are you one? Not what you think.

There are those individuals who tell the truth, and the world hates them for it.

If you are a true Christian, who truly loves God and desires to see His Will done, you have no choice but to tell the truth to a decaying and dying society.

If you are one of those Christians who sold out Christ in order to be accepted by their society and by people in general, to be liked, to make life easier for yourself, one day you will have a lot to answer for before God and I wonder then if it is all going to be worth it.

Because…

When people have the opportunity to quietly, discreetly, sometimes even anonymously tell the truth, those very people in that decaying society from whom you wanted so much acceptance, secretly hate themselves. They are constantly discontent with who they are if they're able to accept who they are at all. They can never get to a place of being okay, they are always suffering from some type of anxiety or mental disturbance or some form of discontent with their life. Their ideas, their values, their belief system is so distorted and depraved that they can't be anything but inwardly miserable while they pretend to society and to those people around them that they’re just fine. They are among the masses every day marching in their uniformity line to their own destruction and death, but ha they are politically correct and they “fit in” within their society. They're just fine, while they're dying every day little by little because of their...

These are the people you want to be like? These are the people you want acceptance from? No thank you! I'll go right on being a Truth Teller and being hated by all of them because I would rather be hated by them than to degrade myself to the degree necessary to be accepted by them. What about you?

There are people who have destroyed their whole lives, destroyed who God created them to be, destroyed their relationship with God, destroyed their spirituality all on the altar of trying to fit into and be accepted by their distorted, depraved, cookie cutter, dying society.

Good sobering words. Jesus was the embodiment of heavenly love and truth come to earth, but on His final night on this earth they had all, every one scattered.

I'm not sure it's so black and white as you portray. There are many different types of people: some are non-conformists, some don't examine their own life, some are "living their best lives now" and really enjoying themselves.
Some people don't find the message offensive, so much as silly or foolish, and so rather than hate you will just look down on you. Depending on where you live and at what time, some will kill you for preaching the Word. In fact, that's another question you could (and maybe should) ask: would you be prepared to die by execution for your belief?

I think you are right it is quite a mix. Many have been handed over to the delusion because they lusted after the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11)

How often do we here the good news that God is returning to take government away from man and that the ways of man and the world we have made in our own image runs contrary to the Kingdom. That was Jesus' gospel, but man prefers another gospel and chose to re-join the church with the world of man, following in it's ways rather than the ways of the Kingdom 1700 years ago. Which truth are we to follow, man's or God's? Matthew 16:17 makes it clear.

There is a current of something. Feel like I stepped in a backstory somewhere here. Anyway as for me die to self, step through the cross, be emptied like Paul, be brought into Christ, and there and only there will you find the truth, everything else is religion.

Well anything I reply to or initiate myself I hope is done in the Spirit, so there is always importance for me as it relates to His will for me. I try to respond to or initiate only what I think is really for me to do. But what I was implying by that comment, it just seemed from some of the other posts that I thought there might of been some carry over with the OP of this thread as to the definition of truth that I am unaware of, but I could be wrong.
