This election is about critical issues, geopolitics, and prioritizing what is most important.
For me, the overriding issues are
1. Resolution of the Ukraine conflict: Trump has expressed a desire to find some sort of resolution and/or peace treaty. We don't know what that is going to look like, but Harris has promised to continue a policy of escalation, and a continuation of the conflict. My main worry is that she green lights Ukrainian long-range missile attacks on civilian targets deep inside Russia, or even puts US troops on the ground in an effort to be a "tough prosecutor" and come off like Nikki Haley. That could lead to tactical nukes getting launched, or full-on WWIII
So I would ask the liberals here how they feel about this? Are abortion rights a bigger worry than atomic bombs blowing up over American cities, or millions of dead people in Eastern Europe?
2. Immigration: Harris has repeatedly argued for decriminalizing border crossings, lessening restrictions on immigration, and basically open borders. She is now trying to convince Americans that she is going to "get tough" on border enforcement. I don't know anyone who believes her. It is like a guy cheating on his wife for 10 years, gets caught, and then promises to be faithful.
If Democrats take the presidency and congress, I expect them to legalize 20 million undocumented aliens in the US. Voting rights will be extended, and red states will flip blue. I would ask the liberals here if they think one-party rule with no checks and balances is a good thing?
3. China: I am not happy with Harris' or Trump's stance towards China, although there isn't a lot that can be done here. That country has taken a dangerous and hostile stance towards the western world. Nevertheless, I think Trump is concerned about China, and that Harris doesn't care and simply can't be bothered.
Secondary issues are the economy, tax policy, abortion, etc.
so if our country gets down up, or is totally overrun by illegals, none of these other things are going to matter yes?
