Threats against justices, as Democrat Chuck Schumer did, should not be allowed in any venue. However, a defendant has a right to defend himself and has a presumption of innocence. In this case Trump was running for president, and Merchan decided to violate Trump's Constitutional right to free speech while witness Cohen was publicly attacking Trump!
again it's not allowed to attack the lawyers judges and such why do you think trump should be above the law and get special privledges. Seriously what is wrong with the right that they think presidents are above the law.

I am well aware Chuck Schumer threatened Supreme Court justices and has never been held accountable. This shows our two-tiered system of justice. As a defendant, Trump had every Constitutional right to criticize those speaking out against him, and the judge put out a gag order. The violations of the Constitution by attorneys and judges who violated their oath of office, interfering with a presidential election, must never be allowed to occur again.

it shouldn't happen, but he's also not a defendant in criminal cases, you seem to think again that being president puts them above law. love the tu quoque falacy whining, it never gets old.

Trump was not the president at that time. In fact, I do believe presidents are not above the law, I spoke out numerous times about violations of the border laws by Joe Biden and his administration. People have a right to elect a presidential candidate of their choice without local or state attorneys or judges trying to muzzle candidates they don't care for.

This public attack of Trump by Cohen…was it during Cohen’s testimony?

It sounds like, that she did the right thing. Regarding impeaching Trump. And they are trying pin any fake crime on her. So, they can punish her. Sadly, Trump can break laws and deceive people. And people will defend Trump, even though he should be in prison. Sad!
