Trump seems to benefit from backwater low mean-tweet visibility in the polls. By removing his mean-tweet campaign to lower-visibility platforms he appears to have benefited.
A lot of Republican and Democratic voters see Trump as more capable, mentally agile, mentally aware President - than Biden. That is to be expected.
In my POV -- his usual shoot-self-in-foot tweet debacle campaign seems to greatly benefit from not being on Twitter/X etc. So not as much cringing going on for the republican voter as "could be" in the days when all news media was hyping his every tweet.
If Trump ever gets behind the idea of dumping mean-Trump to the point of promoting smarter-more-capable-Trump far ahead of the "mean" moniker , then Biden might just "do the rest" for Trump in getting him elected.
The other thing he keeps doing is trying to energize the Christian vote. But to really be effective in that arena he needs to dump the mean-tweet agenda. Unmasking an opposition tactic for what it is - should not have to come with shooting-yourself-in-foot, the way he has often done it in the past.
A smart tactic would be to turn to Ron Desantis prior to tweeting. Get Ron to sanitize the barbs/tweets/harrumphs. ,
In any case - who knows how it will turn out -- certainly not me. But so far this seems to be the name of the game.
