Defense officials say they are ‘actively working to expose and counter Russian disinformation’ as Moscow tries to ‘sow doubt and confusion’

Love your polls. A survey of 1,000 people shows 28% of people would like better relations with a foreign entity and this makes them Russian sympathizers and assets?
What about Obama then?
The United States does not view Europe as a battleground between East and West, nor do we see the situation in Ukraine as a zero-sum game. That’s the kind of thinking that should have ended with the Cold War.”
-- Barack Obama, March 24 [2014]
WASHINGTON -- Should. Lovely sentiment. As lovely as what Obama said five years ago to the United Nations: “No one nation can or should try to dominate another nation.”
That’s the kind of sentiment you expect from a Miss America contestant asked to name her fondest wish, not from the leader of the free world explaining his foreign policy.

We all have different opinions. Some lead to actual and real war, hundreds of thousands dead, hundreds of billions spent and some opinions simply speak out against poor decision making in the realm of foreign policy.
Obama's foreign policy is bringing on WW3 fast... I don't see that as being in our national security interests.
It would have been good if more people had listened to the voices that opposed the idiotic policies enacted by Obama, which have continued through the Biden Harris administration, towards Russia and throughout the middle east in the first place.
How's that great Russian reset of Obama's working out? Did it benefit American interests? Or just embolden our enemies and bring us to the brink of nuclear war again?
Why aren't we accusing him of sympathies that are unamerican? Accusing Biden?
And as far as Assad is concerned, how's that working out for Christians in Syria? All Christmas celebrations are officially cancelled now... They don't have any joy this Christmas, they just became oppressed and persecuted in their own country. Sometimes the devil you know is better, especially when that devil is holding back the gates of hell.
Wanting something better than Assad is only good if you have something tangible to replace him with who is likewise able to keep hell back.
That's not having Russian sympathies, it's called being intelligent and thinking rather than going forth hand in hand with terrorists and dictators singing kumbaya like Obama and Biden.
I bet if you asked those poll questions in a different way they would all say no if it was to result in war and the loss of our nations security interests in the region - unlike the administration currently in charge. Pallets of cash indeed.
