I found his book, “The Unseen Realm” at my local library.. it was a great read.

I don’t agree with some of his personal views, but he really does a great job as presenting the relevance of the Divine Council, and the rebellion and restoration of humanity.

He basically emphasizes the existing storyline throughout the Bible, that most people never pick up on.

I am not a Hebrew scholar. I don’t know Hebrew at all. But it seems that the full context of Psalm 82 has to be fully addressed in order to refute what Dr. Heiser argues. Psalm 82 was what started him down this line of interpretation. To whom are the different “elohim” referring in this chapter?

Too much trouble to view the video. Here is Psalm 82 translated by native Hebrew speaking Jewish scholars from the 1972 Jewish Publication Society [JPS] translation.
JPS Psalms 82:1-8
(1) A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of God; in the midst of the judges He judgeth:
(2) 'How long will ye judge unjustly, and respect the persons of the wicked? Selah
(3) Judge the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
(4) Rescue the poor and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
(5) They know not, neither do they understand; they go about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are moved.
(6) I said: Ye are godlike beings, and all of you sons of the Most High.
(7) Nevertheless ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.'
(8) Arise, O God, judge the earth; for Thou shalt possess all nations.
In vs. 6 God did not say "You are gods." Even as it is quoted by Jesus in the NT it says "I said you are gods." God only said they were gods but those who were only said to be gods will die like the the men that they were.
